③ I'm here to share my story as a photographer for the past 30 years and hopefully to help you find your own career path.

➋④ Let me begin by showing you a picture (that) I took a few years ago along the Wild Coast in South Africa.

⑤ This huge whale, (which is) called a Bryde's whale, is swallowing a huge school of fish whole.
⑤ 브라이드 고래라 불리는 이 거대한 고래는 거대한 물고기 떼 전체를 삼키고 있습니다.
⑥ As you can see from the angle, I captured this scene from under the fish wearing full diving equipment.
⑥ 그 각도로부터 여러분이 볼 수 있듯이, 저는 완전한 다이빙 장비를 착용하고 물고기 밑으로부터 이 장면을 포착하였습니다.
⑦ I was lucky that I wasn't swallowed or knocked over by the twelve-meter-long whale.
⑦ 그 12미터 길이의 고래에 의해 제가 삼켜지거나 때려눕혀지지 않은 것이 저는 운이 좋았습니다.
⑧ Anyway, it took eight years and over 5,000 shots before I was in the right place at the right time to take this picture.

⑪ My hope is that people will appreciate the beauty in my photos, join preservation efforts, and ultimately love and protect the natural world.
