Talk about blood types and personalities.
Many Korean people are under the belief that ~라고 믿는다 person's blood type influences their personality. You can find endless posts about blood types and
personalities while browsing the web. 인터넷 서핑을 하다
There are even posts about how well-suited men 게 시 물 잘 맞 는 and women of certain blood types are for each other.
A lot of people say they get along well with certain 잘 어울린다 blood types, or that they are at odds with others. 잘 맞 지 않 다
Others are skeptical of blood types and ~에 대해 의구심을 갖다
personalities, saying that it is a sweeping 지 나 친 일 반 화
generalization. However, few people think that the personality traits for their blood type are off the 맞지 않다 mark completely.
Of course, these things are all just for fun. It is not used seriously when trying to get a read on 파악하다 = 판단하다 someone's character.

혈액형과 성격에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
많은 한국 사람들은 혈액형이 사람의 성격에 영향 을 미친다는 생각을 가지고 있다. 혈액형과 성격에 관한 글을 인터넷상에서 수없이 찾아볼 수 있다.
심지어 남녀 관계에 있어서도 혈액형 궁합에 대한 글들이 있다. 그래서 특정 혈액형의 사람과 잘 맞는 다거나, 반대로 잘 안 맞는다고 이야기하는 사람들 도 많다.
지나친 일반화라는 생각 때문에 혈액형과 성격의 연관 관계에 대해 의구심을 가지고 있는 사람들도 있기는 하다. 그렇지만, 대부분 자기 자신의 혈액형 에 해당하는 성격적 특징이 전혀 맞지 않는다고 하 는 사람은 거의 없다.
물론 이러한 것들은 가볍게 재미로 이야기하는 것 이다. 한 사람의 성격을 판단하는 심각한 근거로 사 용하지는 않는다.

I don't buy into that. 난 그런 것은 믿지 않아.
A: Hey, are you busy this weekend? Do you want to go on a blind date?
B: Not really. I don't like blind dates, and I'm going to be busy.
A: But I think you will really like this guy. Your blood types match perfectly!
B: I don't buy into that. It's an unscientific way to 비 과 학 적 인 view people.
A: 너 이번 주말에 바빠? 소개팅 나가 볼래?
B: 아니 별로, 난 소개팅도 좋아하지 않는 데다 바쁠 예정이야.
A: 하지만 이 사람은 정말 마음에 들어 할 것 같아. 혈액형이 딱 맞 는다고!
B: 난 그런 것은 믿지 않아. 사람을 보는 방식으로는 너무 비과학적 이야.
browse the web 인터넷 서핑을 하다
web surfing, 즉 '인터넷 서핑'이라는 표현은 일상 대화에서도 자주 사용할 만큼 우리에게도 익숙한 영어 표현이지만, 최근에는 영어권에서 그 사용 빈 도가 많이 낮아졌다. 따라서 자칫 잘못하면 다소 시 대에 뒤떨어지는 표현으로 들릴 수 있다. 요즘은 surf보다는 browse라는 말을 많이 사용하는 편 이다.
You should stop browsing the web and start doing your homework.
인터넷 좀 그만하고 숙제를 하는 것이 좋겠어.
I couldn't sleep, so I turned on my computer to browse the web.
나는 잠이 오지 않아서 인터넷 서핑을 하려고 컴퓨터를 켰다.
