Notice for foreign applicants regarding ROK visa

The below is a note for those foreigners who want to enter Korea. There was a policy change in what types of visa would be granted to foreign applicants, effective April 13. 00:00 hour, by the Korean government.
According to the new policy, from April 13 until further notice, all the Korean embassies in the world are banned from issuing double, multiple visas, regardless of whether the application was already submitted or will be submitted to embassies. Thus, embassies can issue single visa only, from April 13.
Meanwhile, the applications of those who had already applied for multiple visa will be either rejected or adjusted to a single visa during the embassy’s examination process, and in any case the visa fee paid will not be refunded.
