- Opening hours of consular section : Sunday to Thursday, 09:00~11:30
- All applicants or applicant’s legal representatives must come to the consular section of the Embassy and submit all documents directly. It's not allowed to submit to use indirect method such as E-mail and Post.
- Visa will be issued 9 days later from the day of all essential documents are submitted(It’s not allowed to request faster procedure), Additional documents can be requested for the process.

Visa Requirements
When applying for a visa, please submit the following:
○ Short-term General Visa
A person who plans to stay for a short period of time on the purpose of visiting relatives, investing in public business, participating in a non-official sport games, attending events or meetings, performing cultural art, engaging in a training, taking lessons, attending a religious ceremony, collecting documents for academic research, or any other equivalent activities.
- Original passport with at least 6 months' validity - One recent photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm Passport size)
- Completed visa forms (available at the Embassy or Download from the website of Korean Embassy)
- An invitation letter which should be issued from Korean side (Computerized signature or stamp are not permitted)
- A guarantee letter which should be issued from korean side (with Notarization, Computerized signature or stamp are not permitted)
- A copy of unique number certification or a business certification which should be issued from Korean side
- Non-criminal record letter with a translation
- A copy of Tazquira(Afghanistan National Id card) with translation - Visa fee (40 USD)
○ Business Visitor Visa
People who plans to engage in commercial activities such as market research, business meetings, consultation, signing a contract, or small-scale international trading or an APEC card holder visiting Korea without a visa
- Original passport with at least 6 months' validity - One recent photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm Passport size)
- Completed visa forms (available at the Embassy or Download from the website of Korean Embassy)
- An invitation letter which should be issued from Korean side (with Notarization, Computerized signature or stamp are not permitted)
- A guarantee letter which should be issued from Korean side (with Notarization, Computerized signature or stamp are not permitted)
- A copy of unique number certification or a business certification which should be issued from Korean side
- An invoice which should be issued from Korean side - An invitee’s business license with a translation
- Non-criminal record letter with a translation
- A copy of Tazquira(Afghanistan National Id card) with translation - Visa fee (40 USD)
* If inviter doesn’t have a Korean citizenship, inviter’s copy of foreign registration card is needed
○ Student visa
- Original passport with at least 6 months' validity - One recent photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm Passport size)
- Completed visa forms (available at the Embassy or Download from the website of Korean Embassy. Computerized signature or stamp are not permitted)
- A certificate of admission
- A reference which must be issued from Korean side (with Notarization)
- A copy of unique number certification or a business certification which must
be issued from Korean side - A diploma or a transcript
- A copy of Tazquira(Afghanistan National Id card) with translation - A bank statement issued within 30 days
- Visa fee (60 USD)
※ Note
- Submitted documents cannot be given back.
- Embassy only accepts original documents(except unique number certification, business certification and Tazquira) for visa process its issued within 3 months.
- All government officers should submit the additional document above 1) A confirmation which issued from Ministry of Foreign affairs
- Visa cannot be withdrawn, when issued visa fee cannot be refunded and it must be used within 3 months from the date of issue
