모바일 티켓에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

요즘은 거의 무엇이든 휴대폰으로 구매할 수 있 다. 그중에서도 티켓이 가장 많이 구매하게 되는 것 중 하나이다. 사람들은 휴대폰 앱을 이용해서 영화 나 콘서트 티켓을 산다.

요즘은 기차나 비행기 티켓도 휴대폰으로 사는 경 우가 매우 흔하다. 이 때문에 예매도 훨씬 쉽지만, 시간 변경이나 환불도 매우 쉽다.

또한 티켓 자체가 디지털 이미지로 나오기 때문에 티켓을 따로 출력할 필요도 없다. 그냥 휴대폰을 꺼 내서 화면에 나온 이미지나 바코드를 보여 주면 된 다.

티켓이 휴대폰에 있기 때문에 사람들이 티켓을 분 실할 가능성이 더 낮아졌다. 또한 티켓 이미지를 캡 처해서 다른 사람들에게 보내는 것도 매우 쉬워졌 다. 모바일 티켓이 우리의 삶을 훨씬 더 편리하게 만들어 준 것은 분명한 사실이다.

A: Oh no! I think I forgot to bring our tickets!


B: Keep your hat on. Did you buy the tickets online?


A: Yes, I bought them using a mobile app on my phone.


B: Then you can probably just show them your phone to get in.


A: 어떡해! 나 표를 안 가지고 온 것 같아.


B: 당황하지 마. 티켓은 인터넷으로 구매했어?


A: 응, 휴대폰 모바일 앱으로 샀지.


B: 그러면 아마도 휴대폰만 보여 주면 들어갈 수 있을 거야.

take a screenshot 화면을 캡처하다

'화면 캡처'라는 표현은 우리가 자주 사용하지만 capture를 디지털 화면고 관련해 동사로 사용하는 경우는 드물다. 즉, capture the screen 이라고 말하면 의미 전달은 되겠지만 표현이 다소 어색하다. 따라서 take a screenshot이라고 말하거나, screen capture을 줄인

screencap이나 screengrab 등의 단어를 써서 take a screencap, take a

screengrab이라고 말하는 것이 자연스럽다.

나는 사진 파일을 저장할 수 없어서 화면을 캡처했다.


Whenever I see something interesting, I take a screengrab.

나는 흥미로운 것을 볼 때마다 화면을 캡처해 둔다.
