제언

본 연구를 끝내면서 연구결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다.

1) 학교장의 의사결정 유형과 교사의 성취동기 수준과의 관계를 정확히 규명하 기 위해서는 연구의 대상과 범위를 확대한 실증적 연구가 요구된다.

2) 교육의 효과적인 목표 달성을 위해서는 학교 행정의 중심이 되는 의사결정 에 교사들의 참여 기회가 확대될 수 있도록 제도적 개선과 더 많은 연구가 이루어져야 함은 물론 교사들의 꾸준한 노력이 요구된다.

3) 학교장의 의사결정 유형에 따른 교사의 성취동기 수준 육성 방안에 관한 연 구가 필요하다.

A Study on Decision-Making Types of the Elementary School Principals and the Level of Teachers’Achievement Motivation

The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between the decision-making types of the elementary school principals and the level of teachers’achievement motivation

In order to achieve the purposes, this study first examined the participation level of decision-making of teachers in school and its difference according to the variables such as school size and teachers’

background. Next, the level of achievement motivation of teachers and its difference by variables were examined. Finally, this study examined the relationship between the decision-making types of the elementary school principals and the level of achievement motivation of teachers, and its difference by school size and teachers’background.

The questionnaires were used for measurement research questions. The data were quantified by the evaluation measure of 5 stages of Likert and analyzed by ted t/F test, correlation, etc. of SPSS／WIN＋.

The results are as follows:

First, the participation level of decision-making of teachers appeared to be higher than average. It turned out that middle- sized schools, male teachers, high career teachers, directorial teachers are all participating more than large- sized schools, female teachers, low career teachers, normal teachers in decision-making.

Second, the level of achievement motivation of teachers turned out to be higher than average. Middle- sized schools than large ones, male teachers than female ones, high career teachers than low ones, and directorial teachers than normal ones showed higher level of achievement motivation.

Third, when the decision-making type of principal would be a participation type than arbitrary type, the level of achievement motivation of teachers appeared to be higher.
