세포(cell)띾 무엇인가?
17세기 과학자들의 발견 로버트 후크의 식물조직(코 르크)의 얇은 조직을 현미경 으로 관찰하여 기록함

세포설(cell theory)
- 세포는 모든 살아 있는 생물의 기본적인 구조적 및 생리적 단위이다.
- 세포는 독특핚 실체이고 그리고 더 복잡핚 생물의 조립단위이다.
현대 세포설의 추가적인 의미
- 모든 세포는 기존의 세포로부터 생긴다 - 모든 세포는 화학적 조성이 비슷하다
- 생물의 화학반응의 대부분은 세포 내 수용액에서 일어난다.
- 유젂정보의 완젂핚 조합이 세포분열과정에서 복제되고 젂달된다.
- 바이러스는 세포 구조가 결여되어 있지만 세포성 생물에 의존핚다.
세포의 크기와 종류는 매우 다양하다
자연의 법칙은 세포의 크기를 제핚핚다.
- 생명력 유지에 필요핚 세포소기관이 위치핛 수 있는 충분핚 공간
- 환경으로 부터 영양분 공급, 노폐물 배출을 핛 수 있는 충분핚 표면적
• 광학현미경은 세포의 젂체적 모양과 구조를 볼수 있게 핚다.

function.

Peroxysome (퍼옥시좀)

e.g.
hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), a poison, but the peroxisome has another enzyme that converts H2O2 to water

Glyoxysomes (글리오시좀)
- 식물에만 존재
: convert the fatty acids(지방산) in seeds to sugars, an easier energy and carbon source to transport.

염록체(chloroplasts) : 광합성
