대화를 듣고, 남자가 어머니의 생일선물로 준비할 것을 고르세요.
W: You look so serious, Peter. What's up?
M: Well, Laura, tomorrow is my mom's birthday. I am thinking about what to buy for her.
W: How about a scarf?
M: I already gave her one last year.
W: Then how about a bag?
M: My dad is probably going to give her a bag. And my sister is planning to buy either a polka dot skirt or a blouse. I want to give my mom something special this year.
W: Hmm, how about baking a birthday cake for her?
M: Oh, that's a good idea. But I don't know how and I don't have enough time.
W: I'll help you. Let's get started.
M: Thanks. You are such a great friend.
대화를 듣고, 두 사람이 대화하고 있는 장소를 고르세요.
W: Could you take off your shoes, sir?
M: Why?
W: We need to run your shoes through the X-ray scanner.
M: They're sneakers. How can I hide anything in them?
W: We have to check them. It's airport policy.
M: Okay, okay. I will do what you say.
W: Sir, please step aside. Do you have any metal in your pockets?
M: Oh, my keys.
W: You have to take everything out of your pockets.
M: Come on. People are waiting in line.
W: I'm sorry. These are the rules. Please take everything out and walk through the metal detector.
M: Phew, it's not so easy to fly overseas, these days.
W: This way, sir.
3번입니다.
대화를 듣고, 두 사람의 관계로 알맞은 것을 고르세요.
M: Excuse me, Ma'am. Would you tell me what you saw when the accident happened?
W: Yes, I was driving home from work. It was getting dark. There weren't many cars on the road. Suddenly, a red sports car passed by me really fast. After a few seconds, I heard a crash and saw that the car had hit a tree.
M: I see. Now, how fast do you think the car was going?
W: I was driving at about 40 miles per hour, so it must have been going a lot faster than that.
M: What did you do after you saw the accident?
W: I stopped my car, and checked whether anyone was hurt. The driver seemed badly hurt, so I called 911, and that ambulance arrived here just before you.
M: Thank you very much.
대화를 듣고, 여자가 자원봉사자로서 하게 될 일을 고르세요.
M: Why do you want to join this program?
W: I heard that you want lots of volunteers for the community center's "Help our neighbors" program.
M: Do you have any previous experience helping other people?
W: Yes. For three years, I have been volunteering to build homes for people in need. I also taught some poor children and helped to serve free meals for the homeless when I was a college student.
M: We already have many volunteers for that kind of work. What we need are people who can teach Korean to foreign workers and immigrants and provide medical help to them when they are sick.
W: I think I can be helpful for that because I'm currently running a local hospital as a physician.
M: Great! You are the very person we have been waiting for. Can you start this weekend?
W: Of course.

W: I want to find my biological parents. My Korean name is Chae Yeongsun. I was adopted to a Canadian family when I was five.
M: Ladies and gentlemen, she has been trying to find her birth parents and we have been helping her. Now, we are going to open the results of our efforts together.
Ms. Miller, I have both good news and bad news for you. The good news is that we've finally found your parents.
W: Really? Wow! I'm so happy to hear that! Can I see them right now?

M: Okay. Well, there are lots of other things we can do.
Let's go to a rock concert. I'm sure we can still get tickets.
W: No. It's too loud. You'd better go with your other friends.
