주제: Talk about a time when you bumped into an acquaintance.

I was drinking at a bar with some friends a while ^{술집에서 지 난 번 에} ago, when I saw a familiar face. Upon closer ^{바 로 그 때 낯 익 은}

went over to say hello. My friend jumped up and

My friend had found a job, gotten hitched, and had ^{취 업 했 다 결 혼 했 다} a baby. The last time / we met, we were in school.

지인과 우연히 마주쳤던 경험에 대해 이야기해 주 세요.

지난번에 술집에서 동료들과 술을 마시고 있는데, 낯익은 얼굴이 보였다. 자세히 보니, 예전 대학교 때 친구였다. 가서 인사를 건넸다. 그 친구는 벌떡 일어나서 매우 반갑게 인사를 했다. 옆 테이블에 잠 시 앉아서 밀린 애기를 나누었다.

그 친구는 취업을 하고 결혼을 해서 아이까지 있었 다. 예전에 학생 때 마지막으로 봤었는데, 이렇게 사회에 나와서 마주치자 더욱 반가웠다. 때마침 가 까운 지인이 일하는 회사에 그 친구도 근무하고 있 었다.

서로 명함을 교환하고 언제 따로 한번 보자고 얘기 하고 각자 자리로 돌아왔다. 우연히 옛 학교 친구를 만나니 기분이 들떳고, 옛날 추억도 되짚어 볼 수 있는 기회였다.

What a coincidence!(신기한 우연이다!) A: John? Wow, what are you doing here?

B: I came here to meet some friends. What about you?

A: I'm on a blind date. What a coincidence!

B: I won't bother you. See you at work tomorrow!

A: 존? 우아, 너 여기는 왠일이야?

B: 난 친구들 만나러 왔지. 그러는 넌?

A: 난 소개팅 중이야. 신기한 우연이다!

B: 방해 안 할게. 내일 회사에서 보자고!
