Universities in Timisoara have found a partner in Korea

The three main universities in Timisoara will collaborate with South Korea's Chonbuk National University. They signed a Memorandum in Timisoara on Wednesday, which will provide the framework for exchanges of information, students and teachers.

Representatives of the University of the West, the Polytechnic University and the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat, all in Timișoara, will collaborate with a similar institution in the Republic of Korea (no South Korea). The initiative of the agreement with Chonbuk National University belonged to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania, and KIM Eun-joong, the Ambassador of this country in Bucharest, was present at the event.
Following the agreement, it was decided to develop cooperation in exchanges of students, professors and researchers. Joint research projects and academic actions are also planned.
The Memorandum has a validity of five years. The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Romanian Academy, Timisoara Branch.
