While researching chimpanzees she learned about the destruction of animal habitats and the seriousness of animal rights violations This acknowledgment led her to make another significant decision to make people more aware about animal rights and welfare She has done many things to put her decision into practice For instance she established an institute to support wildlife conservation and has spoken out against animal cruelty Today she is considered one of the most famous chimpanzee experts and animal rights activists
