- His Excellency Zacharie Perevet , Minister of Employment and Vocational Training
- Fellow members of government - Distinguished Guests,
- Ladies and Gentlemen,
On the behalf of the Korean Government, I am very delighted and honored to be here with you today on the occasion of the signing ceremony of the contract for the construction of the vocational training centers in three regions of Cameroon, notably: Sangmelima in the Centre Region, Douala in the Littoral Region and Limbe in the South West Region. Thank you all for taking off time from your busy schedules to bless this occasion which marks a new year in the cooperation between our two countries.
Korea accords great importance to this new partnership particularly because of the accomplishment effects it will have on Cameroon by providing the foundation for the country’s industrialization, creating direct and indirect jobs and uplifting the technical base on which its economic development will be intensified.
Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are taking this partnership very seriously while looking forward to the launching ceremonies of the centers in Sangmelima first in a few months, then those of Douala and Limbe. This is the just the beginning of the transfer of Korea’s technical know-how and new technologies and we hope to continue to strengthen Cameroon’s economic capacity.
Thank you for your kind attention!
