The Government of Nepal has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation Power System Expansion Project. Part ofthis loan

will

be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders without nationality restrictions.

2.

The Nepal Electricity Authority ("the Employer") invites sealed bids from eligible bidders

for

the construction and completion of Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 33/l

I

kV substations and lines with Power Transformers, 33

&

I

I

kV Circuit Breaker, structure, poles, conductors, power cables and other equipment and associated civil work by replacing ^the existing facilities at different locations in Nepal.

3.

Intemational competitive bidding

will

be conducted

in

accordance with ADB's Single-Stage, Two Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all bidders without nationality restrictions.

4.

Bidders shall have minimum average annual tumover of US$ 17.4

Million.

Bidders are required to have satisfactory experience in at least 2 (Two) contracts within the last 5 (Five) years, with a value of at least US$ 13.98 Million.
