청소년의 현재 흡연율 추이, 2007~2019

Trends in prevalence of current smoking among Korean adolescents, 2007-2019
◈ The prevalence of current smoking among adolescents in South Korea decreased by 6.6%p from 13.3% in 2007 to 6.7% in 2019 (schoolboy decreased by 8.1%p from 17.4% in 2007 to 9.3% in 2019, schoolgirl decreased by 5.0%p from 8.8% in 2007 to 3.8% in 2019). The current smoking rate of schoolgirl continues to decrease and then increases since 2016. In 2019, the prevalence was 2.4 times higher in schoolboy (9.3%) than schoolgirl (3.8%) (Figure 1).
