Ⅲ. Eligibility for Application

1. All 2011 KGSP applicants must be eligible for the 2011 KGSP early admission process, especially concerning the achievement of TOPIK Level 5.

2. Masters' applicants must have an undergraduate degree from a 4-year university

while Doctorate applicants should have a Master's degree from an authorized institution.

Ⅳ. Required Documentation

1. 1 copy of Application form (University form)

2. 1 copy of Self Introductory Essay & Study Plan (University form)

3. 1 copy of University Diploma Plus 1 copy of Master's Diploma for Doctorate course applicants.

4. 1 copy of University Transcript Plus 1 copy of Master's transcript for Doctorate course applicants.

5. 1 copy of Letter of recommendation (Copy from KGSP application) 6. Documents concerning Finance (May be covered by KGSP certificate.) 7. 1 copy of applicant's passport

8. 2 copies of ID photo (Colored, 4x5cm) 9. 1 copy of TOPIK score report

Ⅴ. Application Procedure

1. Score Distribution

(1) If there are ties, the applicant with higher interview result will be selected.

(2) Scores will be rounded off to the nearest thousands.

2. Lowest Score

(1) The total must be at least above 50.

(2) Candidates who do not have the capacity may not be selected.

Ⅵ. Campus Life

1. Dormitory

(1) All successful applicants will be given a chance to live in the dormitory.

Students can select their own living places if they choose.

(2) Aside from the dormitory staff, Int'l Affairs Office staffs and Korean Language teachers will be stay in the dormitory to support you. (English interpretation, etc) (3) Three twin rooms are in one apartment each. You will share the apartment with

six students, and your room with a Korean student.

(4) Facilities

Dormitory cafeteria, student kitchen(free of charge), Snack store, convenience store, gym, computer room.

2. Others

(1) Buddy program

1:1 buddies with Korean students to help your stay in CJU and enhance your Korean language skills.

(2) Korean Language Program Attendance

Korean language program attendance during your free period is allowed.

(free of charge)

Ⅶ. Important Notes

1. Procedures

(1) All documents must be submitted by post or in person.

(2) If any false document or illicit admission is discovered, admission can be revoked.

(3) No documents can be returned, including unsuccessful candidates'.

(4) All applicants must attend the interview on the designated day.

(5) All successful candidates must enter the university.

(6) Anything not in this document must be determined by the Admission Council.

(7) All details after admission will be determined by Cheongju University Graduate School's regulations and by-laws.
