Ⅱ. Admission Schedule

※ There may be some changes to this schedule according to the NIIED Schedule.

1. Notification of the application guidelines and Request of the recommendation : January 31, 2011

2. Application and Recommendation : from January 31, 2011 to March 31, 2011 3. Selection : from April 11, 2011 to April 13, 2011

4. Result notice : April 18, 2011

5. The issuance of the VISA and physical examination : From July 1, 2011 To August 19, 2011(Before entrance) 6. Entry to Korea : from August 29, 2011 to August 31, 2011

7. Korean language course or graduate school : starting from September 1, 2011 8. Orientation : International Language Institute of this school hold an Orientation

meeting in September

Ⅲ. Eligibility for Application

1. Both applicant and his/her parents must be citizens of the foreign country.

※ Applicants cannot have Korean citizenship.

2. Applicants should be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for a long period of time.

※ First → Applicants must submit 『Personal Medical Assessment』

Next → Applicants must submit 『Official Medical Assessment』

from hospital when they pass.

Final → Enrollment will be canceled if they have HIV, drug, serious disease or mental disease before their entry.

3. Should be under 40 years of age as of September 1, 2011 4. Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of August 31, 2011

⦁For Master’s program: students who hold a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Bachelor’s degree

⦁For Doctoral program: students who hold a Master’s degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Master’s degree.

⦁Applicants who are enrolling or have already enrolled in the same academic program in Korea as the one they are applying for will not be admitted.

⦁Applicants who are expecting the adequate diploma should present their diploma by September 1, 2011 before entry.

5. Should have a grade point average (G.P.A.) at least grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previous attended institution

※ If the grade is difficult to convert to percentage, official explanatory documents from the attended university are required.

6. The Applicant who submitted the certificate of TOPIK, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS score will get advantage in Documents Screeing.

7. Applicants in Engineering Area will have priority over other applicants when they are the equal qualification or point.
