Korean Government Scholarship Program for Engineering Students from Central/South America
Based on the policy of Korean government, the aim of this program is to reinforce a cooperation with Central South American countries. The Ministry of Education in Korea has started the new program named
“2017 Training Program for African, Central South American college students”. Beginning from the late- February of 2017, more than 100 universities in Korea applied to this program, but only the Chonnam National University was selected and intend to launch a training program targeting Central South American Science and Engineering students.
Chonnam National University will select 20 students in the fields of Science and Engineering from Central South America and provide a fruitful training program without program fee, related to scientific technique education during this summer.

- Round-trip flight ticket - Room and board - Medical Insurance
- Majoring in Engineering at a university from Central/South America - 2.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale
- Fluency in English
