Korean Government Invitation Program for Undergraduate Students from Major Partner Countries 2015
Korean Government invites excellent students who will be future leaders to the Major partner countries of Korea. This training program is designed to provide students with invaluable experience in Korea. Students who have interest in this training program are welcome to join in.

: July 14th(Tuesday) ~ July 24th(Friday) 2015 (11 days and 10 nights)3. Number of students
: 1~6 students/country4. Host organization
: National Institute for International Education(NIIED), Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea5. Qualifications
a. From Second to fourth-year undergraduate students who are good at English regardless of major.
(For ASEAN countries, majors except Natural Science or Engineering are preferred since there is an individual program commencing this year, 'GKS for ASEAN countries' Science and Engineering Students.' Visit www.studyinkorea.go.kr for more information.)
b. Priority is given to the students who have never been to Korea.
c. Students who have interest in Korean history and culture.
6. Payment of program
a. NIIED : Round trip air ticket, Stay cost during the program, and traveler’s insurance.
b. Students : Transportation fare in his/her country, visa fee.
7. Program
Activities Contents
Lectures Korean history, economics, culture, etc.
Government Organizations
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Unification, etc.
Visiting Universities Visiting Korean universities, Students exchanges Field Trip to historic
place
Gyeongju, Gyeongbok Palace, The National Museum of Korea, etc.
Field Trip to Korean company
POSCO, Hyundai Motor Company, Hyundai Heavy Industries, etc.
Cultural Activities Nanta Concert, Traditional Korean Clothes and Food Home stay 2~3 persons per family
Other activities Broadcasting Station, Korean Folk Village, Amusement Park, etc.

8. Notification
a. The program is offered in English.
b. Students will stay in group. (2~3 persons per room, mostly Korean food will be provided)
c. The program staff will be with students during the whole program.
d. It is not allowed to have a private schedule during the whole program.
e. It is desirable that students make efforts to understand Korean language, education, culture and etc. by visiting our website(www.studyinkorea.go.kr) before their arrival in Korea.
