Embassy of the Republic of Korea TENDER NOTICE
Bids are hereby invited from suitably experienced Service Providers for the service stated below:
1. Bid descriptions: Appointment of a Service Provider to provide Security Services for the Embassy of the Republic of Korea’s Cultural Centre building for a period of one year with an option to renew
2. Required at : 267 Waterkloof Road, Brooklyn, Pretoria 3. Tender Number: KCC-Security 01/2021
4. CLOSING DATE: 10 SEPTEMBER 2021 16:00 5. Sector: Security Services
6. Method of Bid Submission: Hand delivery at the main entrance gate of the Korean Embassy, 265 Melk Street, Nieuw Muckleneuk, Pretoria.
7. Duration of Contract: 1 year (1st October 2021 to 30th September 2022) with an option to extend annually for a maximum of 5 years
8. Bidders shall take note of the following bid conditions/Compulsory submissions 8.1 Submission of the following documents is compulsory:
- Certified copies of original company registration including CoR 39 (directors).
- Certified copies of license/certificate to operate as a security service provider - Original valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Company profile including current clients and referees with past experiences
- Application Form as provided by the Embassy, and brief motivation for consideration
8.2 With regard to functionality the following criteria will be applicable and the maximum points:

* Only bidders that scored 90 points out of 100 in respect of “functionality” will be evaluated further and therefore be eligible for the award, and bidders that scored less than 90 points will be considered as non-responsive.
* Late, emailed and faxed bids will not be considered.
* Language: must be written in English.

* Bid will be evaluated in two stages: Stage 1 – Price, Stage 2 – Functionality
NB The Embassy does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to accept the Bid in whole or part, at the rates quoted.
NB Should there be no desirable bidder from the Embassy’s perspective, then the tender can be cancelled without further notice to the bidders.
