repay a debt 빚을 갚다
이 표현 중 debt이라는 단어는 b가 묵음이기 때 문에 발음에 유의해야 한다. 또한 금전이나 금융 관련 대화에서 자주 등장하는 debit이라는 단어 와 생김새가 비슷하지만 의미나 발음이 모두 다 르기 때문에 혼동해서는 안 된다.
