RISK CATEGORY COUNTRIES / AREAS TRAVEL ADVICE ON RETURN TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
AREAS WITH TRAVEL RESTRICTION
Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang Provinces in China
• Individuals (except Brunei citizens and PRs) with travel history to these areas within last 14 days will be denied entry to Brunei Darussalam
• Brunei residents advised to defer all travel to these areas.
• On return to Brunei Darussalam, individuals from these areas will be required to undergo a 14 day quarantine period.
• This will be undertaken at a facility (monitoring centre) designated for this purpose.
Islamic Republic of Iran Italy
CATEGORY A Sustained community transmission evident
Mainland China (except Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang)
• Defer non-essential travel
• Individuals who must travel are advised to:
Maintain good personal hygiene
Regularly wash your hands with soap and water, or use a hand sanitizer (especially before and after meals, after using the toilets, and after coughing or sneezing)
Wear a mask if you are unwell
Avoid contact with ill individuals or those showing respiratory symptoms
Seek urgent medical attention if you start to develop symptoms
• On return to Brunei Darussalam, individuals from these areas will be required to undergo self- isolation at home for 14 days from arrival.
• You should isolate yourself at home in a separate bedroom, and avoid contact with family members.
• You should avoid all public activities during this period.
• You should monitor your health for symptoms of fever and other respiratory symptoms and seek medical attention urgently and inform your healthcare provider of your recent travel history, if you feel unwell.
