 의문사 + 주어 + 동사 (간접의문문 어순) + How did I find my dream?

 접속사 (목적격 생략가능)

 ~할 때: 접속사 + 주어 + 동사

 = to take

<to부정사, 동명사 둘 다 목적어로 취하는 동사1>

like, love, hate, begin, start, continue, prefer, intend...

 그러나

 사실은 = actually = in reality = as a matter of fact

 전혀 ~아니다 = not ~ in the least

~해야만 했다   숙고하여 고르다

 동명사 주어 = to be an engineer

= (After) Graduating from college,  직장을 얻다

<to 부정사의 형용사적 용법>

① I want to drink something cold.

명사적 용법: ~하는 것 I want something cold to drink.

형용사적 용법: ~할: 앞의 명사를 수식

② I have no chair to sit on. (위에) 앉을 의자 I have no house to live in. (들어가) 살 집 I have no paper to write on. (위에) 쓸 종이 I have no pen to write with. (쥐고) 쓸 펜

 명사적 용법

to do something. + It made me happy.

to do something which made me happy.

→ make + 목적어 + 목적격보어 (형용사)

의문사 맨앞의문사가 어디까지 인지 확인하라!

 형용사적 용법: ~할
