❶ Required documents must be submitted as a JPG file and submitted to global@kyungnam.ac.kr and original copy sent by post.

❷ Successful applicants must pay the tuition fee by bank transfer.

❸ Certificate of acceptance will be issued after the tuition fee has been received. Chinese Applicants will be required to present this document at the visa issuance office in Korea.

❹ Visa will be considered and issued in a Korean embassy or consulate in the applicants home country.

• After purchasing air ticket, please notify the International Education Center of your arrival details (Contact details are provided below).

• Confirmation of contact at the airport must be provided to case worker at the International Education Center (final destination should be Gimhae International Airport, Busan).

Already submitted application and fee are nonreturnable and details cannot be amended or cancelled. If all required documents are not supplied your application will not be processed.

Application form and required documents must be provided in Korean or English.

Transcripts and graduation certificates must be notarized by a Korean consulate in the applicants home country or the applicants home country consulate in Korea.

*If your country is a member of Apostille Convention, you only require an Apostille stamp (An Apostille is an international certification comparable to notarization in domestic law, and normally supplements a local notarization of the document).

If false and/or counterfeit documents are found at anytime to have been submitted, your right to study will be cancelled.

You can check the arrival of your application and supporting documents through email or by phone 7 days after they have been submitted or sent. If your documents have not arrived, the school will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged documents. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure the safe arrival of the documents.

Successful applicants must pay the required fees by the due date or the admittance decision will be revoked.

If your visa is denied your admittance will be cancelled and fees will be refunded except application fee.

If the contact details provided are incorrect or the applicant cannot be reached, the school will not be held responsible.

By submitting your application, you agree that all personal information collected by the school may be used for the application process and school administration.

Any information not provided in this document will not be the responsibility of KU in accordance with KU school law.

Applicant Requirements

• New Applicants - International Applicants

- Both parents must be international Nationals. The applicant will graduate or has graduated from a high school within Korea or abroad.

- Applicants must have level 3 or over (TOPIK).

Art, Science or engineering applicants require level 2 or over (TOPIK).

※The quota for international admissions is not predetermined.

• Transferring Students

Transferring students must meet the same requirements as new applicants.

• Application Instructions and Fees

① Undergraduate applicants may only apply for 1 course.

② Applicants may not apply for a course related to their national language.

E.g. Chinese nationals may not apply for Chinese majors.

③ Applicants may apply for a course not related to their previous major.

① Applicant should not be a Korean national (passport is required as proof).

② Taiwanese applicants qualify for international status if one parent is a Korean national.

③ Applicants with dual nationality or no nationality do not meet requirements as a international applicant.

④ Applicants unable to prove their nationality through traditional means are required to submit their birth certificate. Applicants unable to prove nationality may not meet requirements for international student status.

•Cultural experience: traditional Korean culture (Taekwondo, cooking, etc)

•Special lesson: after completion of the course TOPIK (Test Of Proficiency In Korean) preparation or university entrance preparation provided for free.
