Abstract
This study was performed to evaluate the effects of intradermal acupuncture on patients with pain.
Three patients suffered from shoulder pain, low back pain, and wrist pain. Each were treated with intradermal acupuncture and outcomes were measured by McGill pain questionnaire-short form, visual analongue scale and pain rating score. After intradermal acupuncture treatments, we found recovery from three patients who suffered from pain. Through this study, we suggest that intradermal acupuncture treatment is effective to cure patients with pain. Futher on, well-designed, controlled studies and more cases are needed to define the effect of intradermal acupuncture for patients with pain.
