[Speaking Tips]
1. window/aisle seat 창가/통로 쪽 좌석
■ I can choose a window seat or an aisle seat.
■ On shorter flights, I prefer a window seat.
■ I like an aisle seat because I use the restroom often.
2. pass through security 보안 검색대를 통과하다
■ I pass through security with my luggage.
■ I always get nervous before I pass through security.
■ Before passing through security, I had to take off my shoes.
3. be banned 금지되다
■ I check whether I have anything that is banned.
■ Phones are banned in the classroom.
■ I think smelly foods should be banned from the subway.
4. head over to ~로 향하다
■ I head over to my boarding gate.
■ After dinner, we headed over to a coffee shop.
■ As soon as we arrived at the resort, we headed over to the pool.
5. buckle up 안전벨트를 매다
■ I sit down, buckle up, and wait for takeoff.
■ Even people in the back seat should always buckle up.

시간 여유가 있어.
A: What time is it? Did we come to the airport too early?
B: It's only 9 o'clock. We have some time to kill before boarding.
A: What do you want to do?
B: Let's check out the duty-free shops.
Then, we can get some coffee.
A: 몇 시야? 공항에 너무 일찍 왔니?
B: 9시밖에 안 됐어. 탑승할 때까지 시간 여유가 있어.
A: 뭘 하고 싶어?
B: 면세점에 가 보자. 그 다음에는 커피 한잔 마시고.
first and foremost 가장 먼저
단순히 순서만을 말할 때는 first라는 단어 하나만으로 도 충분하다. 이 표현에서 foremost는 순서뿐만 아 니라 중요도나 우선순위를 나타낸다. 더 정확하게는 '우선순위가 높기 때문에 가장 먼저'라는 뜻에 가깝다.
When you travel, you should be safe first and foremost.
(여행을 할 때는 안전을 가장 우선으로 챙겨야 한다.) First and foremost, I consider the cost when I buy something.
(뭔가를 구입할 때는 가격을 가장 우선적으로 따져 본 다.)
