Talk about your cooking skills.
I can't cook at a professional level, but I am good 전 문 가 수 준 으 로 enough to whip up simple food to eat myself. My 간단히 준비 하 다 mother provides me with banchan. I also buy a lot of supermarkets, so all I need is a soup or stew to have a meal.

자신의 요리 실력에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
나는 요리를 전문가 수준으로 잘하는 편은 아니지 만, 내가 간단히 해 먹을 수 있는 음식은 곧잘 하는 편이다. 반찬은 어머니가 주시기도 하고, 마트에서 많이 사다 먹기 때문에, 국이나 찌개 하나 정도만 있으면 얼마든지 식사를 할 수 있다.
그리고 요즘은 인터넷상에 각종 요리법들이 많이 있다. 검색 한번만 해도 수업이 많은 레시피들을 얻 을 수 있다. 레시피들만 모아 놓은 푸드 블로그도 많다. 그래서 음식을 하는 것이 훨씬 더 쉬워졌다.
또한 TV에도 요리 관련 프로그램이 매우 많다. 상 당수는 집에서도 해 볼 수 있는 간단한 요리법을 알 려 준다.
먹어 보고 싶은 음식들은 간단히 메모를 한 다음, 시간이 날 때 직접 해 본다. 특히 야식을 즐겨 만들 어 먹는다.

비결이 뭐야?
A: This soup is really delicious! Where did you get it?
B: I cooked it myself. I'm glad you like it. Would you like some more?
A: Yes, please. I can't believe you cooked it. What's your secret?
B: I learned how to make it from a TV program.
A: 이 수프 정말 맛있다! 어디서 구했어?
B: 내가 직접 만들었지. 마음에 든다니 다행이네. 더 줄까?
A: 응, 더 줘. 네가 만들었다니 믿겨지지가 않아. 비결이 뭐야?
B: 만드는 방법을 TV 프로그램에서 배웠어.

supermarket 마트
우리는 '마트'라는 단어를 흔히 대형 매장을 뜻하는 단어로 자주 사용하지만 영어권에서는 잘 쓰지 않 는 표현이다. 대형 마트나 작은 동네 가게 모두 supermarket이라고 하는 것이 적절하다. 단, 다 량의 물건을 상대적으로 낮은 가격에 판매하는 창 고형 할인매장을 지칭할 때는 big box store이라 는 표현을 사용하기도 한다.
I went to the supermarket to buy some milk. 나는 우유를 구입하러 마트에 갔다.
I went to a big box store during the weekend.
나는 주말에 창고형 할인매장에 다녀왔다.
