The FTE number is judged to represent the size of an institutional customer.

For Nature, the FTE number represents all undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and research staff in all disciplines.

Which License?

Free 3-month trial licenses are available for KESLI members between 1^st September and 30^th November 2001. Please contact KESLI for details.

Each license should be purchased individually.

For multi-journal sets, it is not possible to mix Research journals and Review journals together.

Purchase of a site license does not include a print subscription.

Pricing- KESLI Member Discount

The size of the discount offered to KESLI members in 2001 will depend on the number of orders received by December 20th 2001.

If up to 5 members join, 5% off the regular site license price If up to 10 members join, 7% off the regular site license price If up to 15 members join, 10% off the regular site license price If up to 20 members join, 12% off the regular site license price If up to 25 members join, 15% off the regular site license price If 26 or more members join, 20% off the regular site license price

…….If more than 30 members join, the discount will be negotiable based on the number of orders.

KESLI Discount

The discount applies to all members who order before December 20^th.

Who can order?

Orders can be accepted from the following entities

• Academic Institutions (e.g. Seoul National University)

• Single Departments within Academic Institutions (e.g. Department of Chemistry,SNU)

• Hospitals (Government and Private)

• Government laboratories

• Corporate Customers

NOTES:

Several departments of one institution cannot combine to form a single customer.

Corporate members of KESLI can join the KESLI Nature consortium but the maximum discount available will be 10%.

Multi-site licenses attract a fee for corporate members.

If the KESLI discount is 20% the following pricing example can be used.

An Academic institution of FTE 10,000 (Science FTE 8,000) wishes to purchase Nature, Nature Genetics, Nature Reviews Genetics, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Reviews Neuroscience.

Nature license- 2,800 Pounds

Nature Research Journals, 2 titles: 1,600 x 1.6 = 2,560 Pounds Nature Reviews Journals, 2 titles: 1,600 x 1.6 = 2,560 Pounds Total: 7,920 Pounds After KESLI discount: 6,336 Pounds

(set at 20%)

A Corporate member of FTE 800 with 2 sites (Seoul and Taejon) wishes to purchase all 7 Research Journal titles.

Nature Research Journals, 7 titles: 2,000 x 3.1= 6,200 Pounds 2 sites x 250 Pounds = 500 Pounds
