The Consumer Price Index was 120.4(2005=100) in May 2011.

The index was unchanged from the preceding month and rose 4.1 percent from May 2010.

The index excluding agricultural products and oils was 118.2 in May 2011. The index increased 0.5 percent from the preceding month and rose 3.5 percent from May 2010.

The index for food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased 2.2 percent, resulting from the vegetables price fall in May. The index for transport also fell 0.3 percent in May.

Both the index for health and the index for communication were unchanged in May.

The index for alcoholic beverages & tobacco increased 1.3 percent in May. Both the index for clothing and footwear and the

index for miscellaneous goods and services went up 1.1 percent respectively. The other indexes rose 0.1 to 0.8 percent in May.
