➊① Why can a bird stand on a power line and not get shocked?

② This has to do with how electricity works.

③ Electricity flows between two points that differ in voltage.
③ 전기는 전압이 다른 두 지점 사이에 흐릅니다.
④ Since there is no voltage difference between the bird’s feet, electricity does not flow through the bird’s body.
④ 새의 발 사이에는 전압 차이가 없기 때문에, 전기가 새의 몸을 통해 흐르지 않습니다.
⑤ If a bird touches two wires that differ in voltage, however, electricity will flow through the bird and will probably give it an electric shock.
