3. 제언
본 연구를 통해서 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다.
첫째, 본 연구에서 학교장의 변혁지향적 지도성이 보직교사의 직무만족에 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으므로 학교조직에 변혁지향적 지도성 이론이 정착 되도록 노력해야 한다.
둘째, 변혁지향적 지도성과 보직교사의 직무만족 변인을 충분히 이해하기 위하 여 이들 하위 요인을 탐색하는 지속적인 연구가 필요하다
셋째, 학교장의 변혁지향적 지도성과 보직교사의 직무만족과의 관계를 정확히 규명하기 위하여 연구의 대상과 범위를 전국적 수준에서 초등학교는 물론 중등 학교까지 확대한 실증적 연구가 필요하다 하겠다.

A Study on the Relationship between the Elementary School Principal's Transformational Leadership
and Satisfaction of the staff Teachers

The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between the transformational leadership of elementary school principals and satisfaction of the staff Teachers
To collect data, two types of questionnaires were used. One was PTLQ(Principals' Transformational Leadership Questionnaire) developed by Jong-hee Roe to measure elementary school principal's transformational leadership. The other was the questionnaire staff teachers' job satisfaction developed by Lee, Kyoung Sook to measure the satisfaction of the staff teachers.
The questionnaires were administered to 616 elementary school teachers who were randomly selected from 22 elementary schools in Seoul.
The data were analyzed by the Likert's 5-scale evaluation index.
Mean(M) and standard deviation(SD) was calculated as of management result.
In order to find differences between means of relevant groups, t-test and F-test were used level at 5%, 1% and 0.1% significant level.
The conclusions of this study were as follows :
1. The elementary school principals leadership is mostly transformational.
Especially, principals of small schools are displaying the transformational leadership clearly than large schools.
2. The staff teachers of elementary schools are generally satisfied with their teaching job. The level of satisfaction of staff teachers have no relation with sex, business in their charge, school career, and school size. However, the higher the career of the staff teachers is the more staff teachers are satisfied.
3. The staff teachers who work with the highly transformational principals satisfied more than the staff teachers who work with the lower transformational principals. In conclusions it is found that the transformational leadership of principals is the element to give satisfaction of the staff teachers in elementary school.
