본 연구는 6주간 Janda 이론을 바탕으로 구성한 스트레칭 프로그램과 정적 스트레칭 프로그램이 자가 기록 근골격계 증상을 보이는 30대∼40대 여성의 신 체구성, 관절가동범위, 근력 그리고 통증에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석한 결과이다.

1. Janda 이론을 바탕으로 구성한 스트레칭 프로그램을 적용한 실험군이 실험 후에 유의하게 체지방량이 감소하였고 정적 스트레칭을 적용한 비교군은 유의한 변화를 보이지 않았다.

2. 관절가동범위에서는 왼쪽 목 회전, 왼쪽 목 외측굽힘, 오른쪽 어깨 외회전에 서 처치 기간 간 유의한 차이가 나타났고 실험군은 왼쪽 목 외측굽힘에서 비교 군은 오른쪽 어깨 외회전에서 유의하게 향상되었다.

3. 두 집단 모두 근력에서 전반적으로 긍정적인 변화가 보였으나 실험군이 비 교군과 비교해 근력이 뚜렷하게 향상되었다.

4. 실험군에서 통증이 유의하게 감소하였으며 실험 6주 후 실험군이 비교군에 비해 유의하게 낮게 나타났다.

6주간의 실험 결과를 통해 Janda 이론을 바탕으로 구성한 스트레칭 프로그램 실험군에서 체지방량, 관절가동범위, 근력 그리고 통증 변수에 대해 유의한 결과 값이 더 많이 도출되어 정적 스트레칭 프로그램보다 자세 불안정으로 인한 자가 기록 근골격계 증상 완화에 더욱 효과적임을 알 수 있다.

The effect of stretching program based on Janda approach on body composition, the range of motion,

muscle strength and pain changes

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stretching program based on Janda approach compared with static stretching program in body composition, the range of motion, muscle strength and pain. Subjects for this study were 11 women with self-report muscular skeletal symptoms in thirties to forties. The subjects were randomly divided into 6 women as experimental group and 5 women as comparison group. The subjects trained in 6weeks, and skeletal muscle mass and body fat mass of body composition, the range of motion and muscle strength of neck and shoulder region were measured and numerical rating scale was used for measuring pain. The following results were obtained from this study, experimental group was significantly decreased in body fat mass than comparison group. The range of motion was not shown generally significant changes but was affirmatively improved in both group. Experimental group was significantly improved in muscle strength and pain reduction than comparison group. Consequently, stretching program based on Janda approach would be more effective on self-report muscular skeletal symptoms caused by posture misalignment than static stretching program.
