6. Conclusion and Future Works

6.2. Future Works

Even though various power quality problems have been successfully compensated by the versatile IC control schemes proposed in this dissertation, this research should be extended in future because of some possible existing problems. The suggested approaches are listed as below:

 Development of a control algorithm for operating IC in both islanded and grid- connected HMGs.

 Design of HMGs hardware.

 Coordination among parallel ICs to ensure good compensation effectiveness and sufficient stability margin.

 Coordination and interaction among different types of DG, ESS.

 Participation of ESS in supporting HMGs power quality and IC operation.
