INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE
COMISIÓN EJECUTIVA PORTUARIA AUTONÓMA (CEPA)
Through CEPA’s Acquisition and Contract Division, and in accordance with articles 9.4, 9.5 and 9.8 of the Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA), article 10 from the Legislative Decree N°834 of September 8th, 2011 from the Law for the C oncession of the Multi-Purpose Port Terminal Specialized in Containers, Phase I, of the Port of La Union and articles 47 and 48 from the “Ley de Adquisiciones y Contrataciones de la Administración Pública”-Law that regulates government purchases, sales and service contracts- (LACAP), hereby invites to participate in the following process:
PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TENDER PROCESS CEPA PREC-1/2013 “CONCESSION OF THE MULTIPURPOSE CONTAINER TERMINAL OF THE
PORT OF LA UNION”
General Conditions: The prequalification documents will be available from July 3rd to September 12th 2013.
The prequalification documents will be available free of charge in the following web page: www.comprasal.gob.sv, additionally the documents can be obtained at CEPA’s headquarters in the Acquisition and Contract Division, located at Torre Roble building, Boulevard Los Héroes, San Salvador, El Salvador, the documents will be available in an electronic format, an English version will also be available.
All Companies interested in participating must register with CEPA’S Acquisition and Contract Division; in the case that the participant downloads the documents from the web page http://www.comprasal.gob.sv, they must notify through and e-mail to uaci@cepa.gob.sv, the following information: E-mail Subject: Request to register, Name of the interested Company, Name of the Legal Representative or Proxy, Phone Number, Fax Number, Company’s Address, E-mail, and the confirmation that the prequalification documents where successfully downloaded.
The reception of the completed prequalification documents will be on September 13th, 16th and 17th, 2013, from 8:00 a.m.
to 3:15 p.m., El Salvador’s official time. The opening of all envelopes containing the prequalification documents will be on September 17th, 2013 at 3:15 p.m., El Salvador’s official time, at CEPA’S Acquisition and Contract Division, located at Torre Roble building, Boulevard Los Héroes, San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America.
