※ Please be aware that the following requirements apply only to Malaysian nationals married to Korean nationals.

F-6-1 Marriage migrant

Single-entry visa valid for 3 months Period of stay is up to *90 days

* register and renew your stay at a local immigration office within 90 days after your arrival in Korea

One color photo (3.5cm * 4.5cm / white background / Must be same as the one attached on your e-Form) Certificate of health for TB screening and chest x-ray report from a designated hospital (attached list) personal details (attached form)

Invitation form 초청장

Letter of guarantee 신원보증서

Family relations certificate, basic certificate and marriage relation certificate issued within the past three months 기본/가족/혼인관계증명서

Resident registration certificate issued within the past three months 주민등록등본 A passport copy 여권 사본

Documents to prove that a Korean spouse has decent accommodation for his/her spouse and children (i.e.

copy of real estate registration issued within the past three months, copy of rent contract, etc.) 주거요건 입증서류

Credit information report issued by the Korea Credit Information Service within the past three months 신용 정보 조회서

Income certificate issued by the National Tax Services within the past three months 소득 금액 증명원 Proof of genuine and continuing relationship (i.e. photos) 교제 입증 자료

Malaysian marriage certificate 말레이시아 결혼증명서 Additional proof of financial capacity of Korean spouse

초청인의 소득금액증명서로 충분한 소득이 입증되지 않을 경우 추가 증빙 서류 필요

Documents to prove that an applicant speaks the Korean language (i.e. TOPIK test results, degrees in the Korean language, language training completion certificates, etc.)

※ If an applicant does not speak the Korean language, his/her Korean spouse may be requested to present proof that a Korean spouse speaks the language spoken by an applicant.

Note

1. Only cash will be accepted for application fee.

2. Please be noted that the above guideline is for reference only, and additional documents may be requested if it is deemed necessary during the reviewing process of your visa application.

3. Documents submitted for a visa application will not be returned regardless of the results. Please make necessary copies by yourself before the submission.

4. Please make an online reservation on the Consular Services 24 website (https://consul.mofa.go.kr) before visiting the Embassy to submit your application. (Walk-in submission will not be accepted.)

5. Marriage migrant visa application must be submitted by an applicant or his/her Korean spouse, who may be interviewed by the visa consul at the Embassy upon submission of application or at later times.

6. In principle, non-Malaysians are eligible to apply a visa to the Embassy in Kuala Lumpur only if they are;

- diplomatic or official passport holders - long-term pass holders in Malaysia - Malaysian permanent residents

7. [IMPORTANT] Applicants from the following countries are required to prove that one has stayed in Malaysia for over two years on a valid long-term pass, and one’s current pass is valid at least for over six months. Otherwise, the visa application should be submitted to the Korean Embassy or Consulate General in one’s home country.
