미용실에서 머리를 한 경험에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
작년에 머리를 하기 위해서 미용실에 갔다. 파마를 하고 싶었는데, 미용사가 내 머릿결이 너무 상해서 하면 안 될 것 같다고 했다. 그래서 하는 수 없이 끝 이 갈라진 부분을 잘래 내고 트리트먼트를 받았다.
머리 감는 법과 드라이하는 법에 대한 조언을 듣고 그 이후로 신경을 더 많이 썼다. 최근에 다시 미용 실에 파마를 하러 갔다. 원하는 파마의 종류를 고르 고 진행했다. 염색을 한 지 좀 되어서, 뿌리 염색도

split ends 갈라진 모발
영어로는 '머릿결'이라는 뜻을 가진 별도의 표현이 없 다. 굳이 지어낸다면 hair quality 등의 표현이 가능하 겠지만, 이는 상당히 부자연스럽다. 따라서 모발과 마 찬가지로 hair라는 단어를 쓰고 silky, soft, damaged, thick, thin 등의 표현으로 머릿결 상태 를 묘사하면 된다.
I use a special shampoo because of my
split ends.
(갈라진 모발 때문에 나는 특수 샴푸를 사용한다.) She has very silky hair.
(그녀는 머릿결이 아주 곱다.)
