The international seminar on 「Future of the New Southern Policy in the Post-COVID-19 Era」 will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at the Westin Chosun Seoul.

Our event is hosted by the Presidential Committee on New Southern Policy, the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities, and Social Sciences (NRC), and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP).

This seminar aims to review the implications of South Korea’s New Southern Policy while discussing visions, goals, and challenges that require cooperation in response to the post-COVID-19 era.

In particular, this seminar will provide valuable opportunities to review on the achievements of the New Southern Policy while exploring ways to upgrade the policy.

Also, this seminar will serve as a valuable platform for in-depth discussions, with the participation of prominent figures from home and abroad, including the ambassa- dors of ASEAN member states and India, government officials, presidents of major research institutes, and academic scholars.

We would be grateful for your interest and support.
