▪ Program Outline
1. Title : Cultural Administrators Training Program : Online Course & Forum 2. Application deadline : November 18, 2021 16:00 (Korea Standard Time, UTC+9) 3. Eligible participants & Requirements
- Administrator(public officer) in charge of cultural policy and program of central and local governments in countries in Central Asia, Northeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia.
- Total about 20 administrators are eligible for participation.
* 1 High-level administrator, 2-3 working level administrators per country.
* Considering the effectiveness of the course, it is recommended that administrators in the same department apply.
* Requirements
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea and Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) jointly open
the Online Course & Forum as part of Cultural Administrators Training Program of Cultural Partnership Initiative(CPI) 2021.
The aim of this Course & Forum is to support administrators from countries in Central Asia, Northeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia
to strengthen their capacity of building a strategy of fostering talents in cultural fields.
It would be much appreciated
if excellent administrators are interested and participate in this program.
High-level Administrator
∘ Deputy Minister or Director General of public officers in Centeral and local government
* Priority Recommendation : person in charge of public service related to forum topics(cultural industry, fostering talents) and international cooperation
∘ Practical fluency in English
* ability to write documents in English and attend to webinars
Working-level Administrator
∘ Public officials in central and local governments.
* Priority Recommendation : person in charge of policy and program related to cultural resources and ODA
∘ At least 5 years of working experience in public service
∘ Under the age of 45 (born after 1976)
∘ Practical fluency in English
* ability to write documents in English and attend to webinars
※ Unapproved if workload of this program interferes with official works
4. Program description
[Online Course]
1) Duration : Nov 29(Mon) to DEC 10(Fri), 10 weekdays
2) Workload : Approximately 3 to 4 hours a day (total about 43 hours of learning) * Participants should attend to 3-4 hour long lecture per day, which consists of
self-paced learning (can be completed on your time) and fixed-time seminar every afternoon.
3) Eligible activities
- Working-level administrator : Complete all work on the course in a timely manner - High-level administrator : Choose 1 subject (Film or Contents) and complete the lectures 4) Course Detail

6) Learning platform: Google Classroom, Zoom 7) Regarding Certificate
- In order to earn a Certificate of Completion, Working-level administrators must complete all sessions and exercises therein (including review report, quiz and project plan) according to stated guidelines.
- For high-level administrator, Online course does not issue a certificate of completion, but there will be a certificate of participation of online forum.

- High-level administrator : preparation of manuscript, presentation *According to the given topic
- Working-level administrator : Participating the entire session
* The winner of the best project plan will be given the opportunity to present his/her plan

5. Participants selection
- Up to 4 administrators (1 high-level, 2-3 working level) from each country can apply
* If the number of applicants exceeds the maximum number of each country, interviews may be proceeded by CPI office to determine the final participant .
6. Support
1) Working-level administrator : Subsidy (USD300), Certificate of completion, Souvenirs * Additional prizes for final presentation contest winners
2) High-level administrator : Manuscript&presentation fee (USD500), Certificate of participation, Souvenirs

8. Follow-up schedule (changeable)
- Final confirmation : November 19th (Friday)
* Interview can be proceeded if the number of applicants for each country exceeds the maximum number of participants
- Announcement : November 22nd (Monday) * CPI office will contact the participants individually
