PROCESSING TIME

Complete and satisfactory applications will normally be approved after Five working days. For pending &

interview visa cases, the processing time will be Five working days including the day of submission of additional documents & interview.

Short Term Single Entry

(Up to 90 days) 2,800/- + 2,100/ = 4,900/-

Long Term single Entry (More than 90 days) required to submit their

medical report on tuberculosis from the specifically designated hospitals by the Consulate

4,200/- + 2,100/ = 6,300/-

Double Entry

(Up to 30 days) 4,900/- + 2,800/ = 7,700/- Multiple Entry

(Up to 90 days) 6,300/- + 2,800/ = 9,100/- Visa Entry

for American Nationals 3,150/- -

* VISA FEES (To be paid only in CASH.)

* Multiple Visa is only applicable for those who have been to Korea more than once.

* When applying for multiple visas, it is required to specify the date of first visit including next visit.

Express Visa Application is 1½ to 2 working days from the time of submission.

- Additional processing time may be required if deemed so by the Consulate.

Basic Documents

(A) Visa form:

All columns to be filled in completely, clearly and legibly. Do not use white ink or overwrite or make corrections in order to avoid delay in issuance of visa.

One photograph to be pasted(the photograph should be in color and the applicant must face the camera directly with white background)

Original passport should be VALID FOR SIX MONTHS.

*

Passport should bear minimum 3 blank pages (either side)

(B) Covering Letter/Visa Request letter should contain the following information

Applicant's full name, mobile no., date of birth and passport No.

*

If employed, company’s name, phone number, registered seal/signature at the end of the letter

*

Brief Details of Visit.

(C) Invitation letter should contain the following information

*

Invitee's full name, mobile no., date of birth and passport No.

*

Inviter's details, such as in case of companies, name and phone no. of person In-charge, and in case of individuals, inviter's full name, and phone no.

*

Inviting company/individual's registered seal/signature at the end of the letter

*

Original invitation letter not required (Scan copy or Photocopy)

(D) Copy of Certificate of Business Registration (can be downloaded by the Korean Inviter from:www.nts.go.kr)

It has to be issued in recent 3 months (E) Financial Documents Requirements

6- month bank statement of applicants (With Bank Seal) just in case applicants are not eligible to file ITR + In absence of Income Tax Return please provide explanatory note as well.

NOTICE (Please read the instructions carefully before applying for visa) 1. Final allotment of visa is on the sole discretion of the Government of the Republic of Korea.

2. Submission & collection can be done personally or through registered travel agents or the representatives can come with authority letter from applicant.

3. No Express Visa services will be entertained after submission .

4. The consulate reserves the right to ask for additional documents other than the said given requirements.

5. The consulate reserves the right to take longer visa issuance time to clear doubts if any.

6. Visa fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

7. Documents will not be returned once submitted to the Consulate. Please note that the Consulate does not require original documents (excepts for TB certificate)
