Lee to Al-Jareeda: Incheon’s Operation of T4 is a remarkable milestone in the relations between Kuwait and Seoul
The CEO of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Operation Manager of T4, Kwang Soo Lee affirmed that Kuwait’s choice of IIAC to operate T4 is a remarkable milestone in the mutual relations between Kuwait and Seoul, and paves the way for signing economic treaties between the two countries.
“Incheon embarks on investing in Kuwaiti young people, training and qualifying them to undertake the management of the airport five years from now, which is the period of the contract”, said Lee to Al- Jareeda.
He remarked that the new building has separate facilities for departures and arrivals. “ We aim that procedures of arrival and departure don’t exceed 20 minutes while enjoying available services at the airport and onboard as well”, he added, noting that the IIAC works in cooperation with the DGCA and the MOI to establish customs inspection unit inside the airport to facilitate direct flights between Kuwait and New York - Al-Jareeda, p.5

No medical error in five-year-old child’s death: Health Minister Health Minister Sheikh Dr Basel Al-Sabah announced that the committee entrusted to investigate the death of five-year-old child Hajer Al-Mutairi reported that no medical error was involved.
Responding to a parliamentary inquiry by MP Riyadh Al-Adsani, Sheikh Basel stressed the issue was referred to the public prosecution to hold whoever responsible accountable after the child’s father lodged a complaint claiming that a medical error occurred. Notably, the child was involved in a traffic accident on March 27 and rushed to Adan Hospital for treatment – Kuwait Times
Ministry of Communications reshuffl es number of department directors
Ministry of Communications has conducted a reshuffl e among a number of department directors with the aim of improving the work performance and serving the employees, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The relevant decision included the delegation of Salem Al-Rajhi as the Director of Administrative Affairs Department in the ministry, and transfer of Khalid Al-Khalid as the Director of Technical Offi ce.
Meanwhile, the workers syndicate of the ministry announced the upcoming disbursement of location allowance to deserving employees for the months of June and July, adding that the list of deserving employees has been sent to the Finance Department for facilitating the disbursement of the allowance.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is planning to relocate the venues for general assemblies of companies from the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) to a yet-to-be specified location, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources. Sources explained this move aims to alleviate pressure put by companies, indicating the ministry had earlier relocated the venues from the Ministries Complex to PAI due to renovation works at the complex. Economy Kuwaiti oil price down to USD 78.28 pb
The price of Kuwait crude oil went down on Monday 25 cents to stand at USD 78.28 per barrel (pb) after it was at USD 78.53 pb last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday.
Globally, oil prices rose as a result of the support of the geopolitical tensions despite concerns over long term prospects.
The price of the Brent crude went up 35 cents to settle at USD 80.78 pb, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which rose by 44 cents to reach USD 71.78 pb - KUNA
Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Discusses with Dominican Foreign Minister Mutual Cooperation
Minister of Finance, Nayef Al-Hajraf discussed today (Tuesday) at his office with Dominican Foreign Minister, Migel Farghas and his accompanying delegation aspects of mutual cooperation.
The ministry declared in a press statement that during the meeting both sides elaborated on several issues of mutual concern in view
of keenness of both sides to enhance and strengthen economic and commercial relations between Kuwait and Dominican Republic.
The ministry states that this meeting came during the official visit of the foreign minister of Dominican Republic to the State of Kuwait to discuss various aspects of cooperation between the two countries – KUNA

State Audit Bureau : Studied 264 Issues with a value exceeding KWD 569 million last September
Kuwait SAB declared today (Tuesday) that during last September it studied and researched 264 issues including public and
restricted tenders tenders and practices with the value of KWD 569,067,175/829) ( nearly $ 1.8 billion).
Member of the team responsible for preparing the annual report, Fahad Al-Azmi said that SAB expressed its opinion in 178 issues with the value of (KWD 410,397/510), nearly ($ 1,35 billion) with the percentage 67.4% of total issues subject to research during that period – KUNA

His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed received at Bayan Palace yesterday Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Anas Al-Saleh, and Chief of National Diwan for Human Rights, Ambassador Jassem Al-Mubarki as he presented to HH members of the National Diwan for Human Rights in the occasion of forming the new Board of Directors.
HH the Amir of Kuwait congratulated them all on their new humanitarian positions, reiterating the importance of their role in supporting human rights and defending them, as this represents the leading role of Kuwait in this field. HH the Amir wished them success and progress.

Al-Jarah Received the Qatari Ambassador and our Ambassador in China
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah met with Ambassador of Qatar to Kuwait, Bandar Al-Atteya.
They discussed brotherly relations between the two countries along with a number of issues of mutual concern. Ministry of Interior said in a press statement that Minister Al-Jarrah commended the depth of relations, which connected the two countries and their mutual keenness to develop them.
The statement mentioned that Ambassador Al-Atteya lauded the atmosphere of talks with Minister Al-Jarrah, and he confirmed that they contribute to enhancing brotherly relations between both parties.
Al-Jarrah also met with our ambassador to the popular Republic of China, Sameeh Hayat, and they elaborated on Kuwaiti-Chinese relations and means of their development in the security field – Al-Anbaa
Kuwait Expresses its Solidarity with Saudi Arabia in Countering the Oppressive Campaign that Impacts its Sovereignty
The Cabinet expressed in a formal statement Kuwait’s full rejection and regret for the oppressive campaign targeting KSA and the claims filed against it, which aim to tarnish the reputation of KSA and its refined position in the Arab, Islamic and International levels.
Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Anas Al-Saleh said that based on the close and strong relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, the Cabinet followed with interest the case of the Saudi citizen, Jamal Khashogji, and it affirmed the necessity of waiting the results of investigations undertaken by competent authorities around this issue.
