The Eaton lens is a typical GRIN lens that changes the wave trajectories in any direction with- out a phase difference and that has great potential for applications in future systems. Recent developments in high refractive index technology, which can be used to that control the electric sus- ceptibility and the magnetic permeability, have gradually led to the possibility of producing Eaton lenses good enough to replace mirrors and prisms. We summarize what Eaton lens may do in the future and give some simulator results and some application areas.
