Congratulation on being selected as KNU exchange students.
The Office of International Affairs has prepared ‘Culture Day’ event for all of our exchange students and buddies. The event provides you with an opportunity to introduce your country and university in a PPT presentation. Please note that the PPT slides must be submitted via email 2 days before the event day to intn@kangwon.ac.kr
All applicants do not need to send an excel file now as only selected presenters are required to send a powerpoint file via email after the result announcement on August 17.

※ Notes for Presentation preparation - Duration : 10-15 minutes
- Language : English or Korean
- Basic minimal level of your language
[ex: Hello, Bye, Thank You / Self Introduction ]
- If possible : Traditional clothes/instruments and symbols / signs that represent and show the images and tradition/culture of your country.
- If possible : small souvenirs/snacks/sweets etc. to share with students.
- Preparing several popup quizzes will be helpful to lighten up the mood.
- When preparing your PPT slides, please use original fonts as new fonts may not be shown up properly and make the slides as visual as possible
- You may introduce songs or dances either during or at the end of your presentation by giving short time performance be it solo or group performance with your friends.

국제교류팀에서는 다양한 국가에서 온 교환학생과 한국인 도우미(buddy)가 함께 교류하는 기회를 갖기 위해, ‘문화의 날’ 행사를 준비하고 있습니다. 이 행사에서 당신의 학교와 나라를 소개해주세요~ 발표자 료(power point 파일)는 발표일 2일 전까지 intn@kangwon.ac.kr로 보내주면 됩니다.
신청학생이 Power point 파일을 지금 보내는 것은 아니고, 8월 13일 이후에 '발표자'로 확정된 학생만 보내주면 됩니다.

< 문화의 날 일정 >
⃝ 일시 : ‘문화의 날’ 행사 당일 오후 6시~8시30분
⃝ 장소 : 국제교류본부 글로벌라운지
⃝ 행사내용
- 교환학생 발표 (본인의 국가 및 문화 소개, 간단한 학교 소개 등) - 학생 공연 (노래, 악기연주, 춤 등 장기자랑)
- 간식 먹으며 자유롭게 대화
※ 발표준비 참고사항
- 발표시간: 10분~15분 - 발표언어: 영어 또는 한국어- 기본 인사말 알려주기 (예> 안녕하세요. 고맙습니다. 저는 oooo입니다)
- (가능한 경우) 전통의상, 전통악기, 나라를 대표하는 전통적인 상징물을 가져와서 보여주면 좋습니다.
- (가능한 경우) 작은 기념품, 또는 여러분의 나라에서 가져온 작은 과자, 사탕 등을 조금 준비해서 참가 한 학생들에게 선물로 나눠줘도 좋습니다.
- 참가 학생들에게 할 질문(popup quizzes)을 미리 준비해오면 분위기가 좋습니다.
- Powerpoint 파일을 작성할 때 새로운 글꼴(fonts)을 사용하면 발표할 때 보이지 않을 수 있으니, original fonts를 사용해주기 바라며 최대한 시각적으로 만들어주세요.
- 발표 중간 혹은 마지막에 간단한 노래나 dance를 친구와 같이(혹은 솔로로) 보여줘도 됩니다.
- 아래 사진은 발표를 하게 되는 ‘글로벌라운지’입니다.
