2021 차세대 한국학자 초청 연구지원 대상자 모집

차세대 한국학자 초청 연구지원(AKS Graduate Fellowship)은 해외 교육 기관에서 한 국학 관련 연구를 진행하는 외국인 및 재외국민 석․박사 과정 학생을 초청하여 6개월 간 교육․연구 활동을 지원하는 한국학대학원의 비학위과정 프로그램입니다.

2021. 9. 1. ~ 2022. 2. 28. 기간 동안 지원받을 대상자를 다음과 같이 모집하오니 관심 있는 분들의 많은 신청 바랍니다.

1. 지원 내용

가. 연구지원금 : 월 750,000원 나. 여비 : 왕복 항공료

다. 숙소 : 본원 게스트하우스 무료 제공

라. 지원 기간 : 6개월 (2021 9. 1. ~ 2022. 2. 28.)

2. 신청 자격 : 연구지원 시작일(2021. 9. 1.)을 기준으로 다음 조건을 모두 만족하는 자 가. 외국인 또는 재외국민

※ “재외국민”은 대한민국의 초·중·고등학교 및 대학 교육에 상응하는 교육과 정을 전부 외국에서 이수한 자만 해당

나. 해외 대학 소속 석사 과정 재학생·수료생 및 박사 과정 재학생 다. 연구 주제가 한국학과 관련 있는 자

The

AKS Graduate Fellowship

is GSKS’ non-degree program which invites international graduate students to the AKS and supports them for six months, providing them with a momentum to grow to be a next generation of promising scholars in Korean studies. AKS Graduate Fellows for the period from 1^st September 2021 to 28^th February 2022 are now being sought. Those who aspire to widen and deepen their knowledge of Korea by conducting research at GSKS are very welcome to apply.

1. Fellowship Benefits

A. Monthly stipend of KRW750,000 is provided.

B. An economy-class round trip airfare at actual expense is provided * C. The on-campus guesthouse is available free of charge.

D. Fellowship Period : From 1^st Sep 2021 to 28^th Feb 2022 (6 months in total)

2. Eligibility

As of the beginning of the fellowship period (1 September 2021), applicants should meet all of the following criteria.

Qualifications

Nationality

An applicant should be either a foreign national or a Korean national who has completed education outside of Korea which is compatible with Korea‘s elementary, middle, high school and college education.

Educational Background

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions :

① Applicants are enrolled in a Master’s or a doctoral degree program at an overseas university.

② Applicants completed coursework and are in the status of ABD (All But Dissertation) in a Master's degree program at an overseas university.

※ ABD students in a doctoral degree program at an overseas university are NOT eligible for AKS Graduate Fellowship, but eligible for AKS Fellowship run by the AKS’ Center for

International Affairs. Recruitment announcement for 2022 AKS Fellowship will be published in Sep 2021 at
