6 ‘~라는 것’의 뜻으로 목적어 역할을 하는 명사절을 이끄는 접속사 는 that이며, ‘A뿐만 아니라 B도’는 상관접속사 「B as well as A」로 나타낼 수 있다.

‘만약 ~이 아니라면’의 뜻이다. (Unless → If)

4 ‘A와 B 둘 다’라는 뜻의 「both A and B」가 주어로 쓰일 때는 복 수 취급한다. (works → work)

5 ‘A와 B 중 하나’는 상관접속사 「either A or B」로 나타내며, 상 관접속사의 짝이 되는 대상은 문법적으로 같은 형태이어야 한다.
