출입국관리사무소 비자담당자가 제출서류 확인, 전자비자대상자 및 초청기업 관련 사항 확인
•서류미비 시 보완 요청

Step3 출입국관리사무소 본부 상신 출입국관리사무소 비자담당자 : 시스템을 통하여 본부에 검토의견 상신

Step4 발급 심사 법무부 :
자격별 비자발급 심사기준에 따라 비자 발급 심사

법무부 : 심사결과에 따라 허가/불허 결정

Step6 발급 여부 통보
심사결정 후 신청자에게 문자(SMS) 및 이메일로 결과 통보

전자비자(E-VISA)이란?
•
“전자비자”는 법무부장관이 외국인에게 직접 정보통신망을 통하여 온라인으로 발급하는 비자
※ 비자신청, 수령을 위하여 재외공관을 방문할 필요가 없음
입국절차
•
원칙적으로 휴넷코리아에서 출력한 “전자비자발급확인서”를 소지하고 입국
※ 전자비자발급확인서를 소지하지 않은 경우에도 입국 가능하나 정밀심사 위해 입국시간 다소 지연
이용 대상 및 서비스
이용대상
•
교수(E-1), 연구(E-3), 기술지도(E-4), 전문직업(E-5)자격 외국인 및 그 동반(F-3)가족
•
외국인 환자 유치기관 중 법무부장관이 “전자비자 대리신청 기관”으로 지정한 우수 유치기관에서 초청한 외국인 환자 및 그 동반자(C-3-3, G-1-10)
•
ʼ12. 1. 1. 이후 3회이상 단기방문(C-3) 자격으로 입국한 사 실이 있고 국내 체류기간 중 불법체류나 기타 범법사실이 없었던 자로 단기상용목적으로 국내 기업(초청자)의 초청을 받은자(C-3-4)
•

Information for E-VISA application

What is E-VISA?
• E-Visa is an electronic visa issued by the Minister of Justice via online.
※ You do not have to visit a diplomatic mission abroad to apply and obtain a visa.
Eligibility and Services
Eligible Applicants
• You are an eligible applicant for an E-1 Professor, E-3 Researcher, E-4 Technology Transfer, E-5 Professional Employment and F-3 Dependent Family visa
• You are a foreign patient (C-3-3, G-1-10 visa) or a foreign patient's companion invited by an excellent medical tourism facilitator designated as "E-visa Agency" by the Minister of Justice
• If you satisfy all of the following conditions (A,B, and C) below, you are eligible to apply for a C-3-4 visa through our E-VISA system.
(A) You have entered Korea on a C-3 Temporary Visit visa at least three times since January 1st, 2012.
(B) You have never violated Korean Laws including illegal stay and others.
(C) You have been invited by a Korean company.
• You can apply at the HuNet Korea website (www.visa.
go.kr), the Ministry of Justice electronic visa system.
Entry Procedure
• An applicant arrives in the Republic of Korea with the
‘e-visa issuance confirmation’ which he/she printed out prior to his/her landing.
※ It is possible that the applicant arrives in the Republic of Korea without the e-visa issuance confirmation, but his/her entry procedure will be delayed as he/she will have to undergo an extensive entry inspection.

E-Visa Application Procedure
Step1 Apply for the e-visa the applicant / the inviter
The applicant or the inviter applies for the e-visa at the HuNet Korea portal(www.visa.go.kr)
• Fill out the forms and pay for the fee

Step2 Check required documentation and conditions for application
The visa officer at a local immigration office checks the submitted documents and relevant facts and information of the applicant and the inviter
• The visa office will request to submit missing documents if any.

Step3 An immigration office sends the application to the Headquarter
The visa officer will send the application to the headquarter for consideration

Step4 The application is reviewed The Ministry of Justice will review the application

Step5 Accept / Reject
The Ministry of Justice will decide whether to accept or reject the application

Step6 The result is sent to the applicant
The result will be sent to the applicant either by a text message (SMS) or by an email

Step7 The applicant prints the e-visa issuance confirmation
The applicant or the inviter prints out the e-visa issuance confirmation
7
Step8 Arrival
The applicant arrives in the Republic of Korea with the e-visa issuance confirmation
