This notice, announced by the Ministry of Justice, forwards the amendments of the designated countries which are ineligible to enter the Jeju Island visa-free and which are required to earn a permission for its citizens to travel the mainland
1. Nationals of the following countries are NOT included in the visa-free entry into Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (24 countries)
2. Nationals of the following countries are required to receive permission for extension of sojourn area (62 countries)
3. Enforcement Date: August 1, 2018 (In the case of Egypt: September 1, 2018)

- Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Namibia, Niger, East Timor, Libya, Rwanda, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Maldives, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Bhutan, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Uganda, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Zimbabwe, Chad, Cape Verde, Kenya, Comoros, Cote d’Ivoire, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Togo, Papua New Guinea
