A Prayer of Jabez 9

Let me ask you this morning. What is it that is keeping you today from asking for God’s supernatural blessing in your life? What is it that’s keeping you from asking him? Maybe you are one of those people who would say, “Well, I’m just not a candidate for God’s blessing. You don’t understand, Robert.
I’ve made some really bad choices in life. God could never bless me.” Or maybe you’ve got this wrong view of God that says, “You know, God is sovereign. He’s going to do what he wants to anyway. And my prayers can’t change things.” Or maybe you are one of those people who would say, “Well, you know, God’s just not powerful enough. He certainly couldn’t help me out of my circumstance.” Or maybe you would think to yourself, “Well, you know, God’s already given me a blessing.
I can’t ask for any more.” You realize all of those excuses are based on a wrong view of God. Exodus thirty four, six says,
“ God is full of mercy. He is full of Goodness. He is overbounding. He is overflowing in truth and goodness. There is no limit to what God can bless you with. The only limit to God’s blessing in your life is your willingness to ask for it.

Let me ask you this morning.
오늘 아침에 여러분께 질문을 하겠습니다
What is it /that is keeping you today
그것이 무엇입니까 / 오늘 당신을 붙들고 있는 것이
from asking for / God’s supernatural blessing / in your life?
요청하지 못하도록 / 하나님의 초자연적인 축복을 / 당신의 인생에서
What is it / that’s keeping you / from asking him?
그것이 무엇입니까 / 당신을 붙들고 있는 것이 / 그분께 요청하지 못하도록
Maybe you are one of those people
아마도 당신은 그런 사람들 중의 한 사람일지도 모릅니다
who would say, / “Well, I’m just not a candidate / for God’s blessing.
말하는 / 저는 그저 후보자가 아닙니다 / 하나님의 축복을 받을
You don’t understand, Robert.
당신은 이해 못합니다, 로버트
I’ve made some really bad choices / in life.
나는 정말로 나쁜 선택을 좀 했습니다 / 인생에서
God could never bless me.”
하나님은 결코 나를 축복하실 수가 없을 겁니다
Or maybe you’ve got / this wrong view / of God
또는 아마도 당신은 가지고 있는지도 모릅니다 / 이러한 잘못된 시각을 / 하나님에 대한
that says, / “You know, God is sovereign.
말하는 / 하나님은 군주이십니다
He’s going to do / what he wants to / anyway.
그 분은 하실 것입니다 / 자신이 하고 싶어하시는 것을 / 어쨌든 간에
And my prayers can’t change things.”
그래서 내 기도들은 상황을 바꿀 수 없습니다
Or maybe you are one of those people
또는 아마도 당신은 그런 사람들 중의 한 명일지도 모릅니다
who would say, / “Well, you know, God’s just not powerful enough.
말하는 / 하나님이라도 그 정도로 세지는 않습니다
He certainly couldn’t help me 그는 분명 나를 도와줄 수는 없을 겁니다
out of my circumstance.”
내 상황에서 빠져 나오도록
Or maybe you would think to yourself, 혹은 아마도 당신은 이렇게 생각할지 모릅니다
“Well, you know, God’s already given me a blessing.
하나님은 이미 나에게 축복을 주셨습니다
I can’t ask for any more.”
나는 더 이상 요청을 할 수 없습니다
You realize / all of those excuses 당신은 깨닫습니다 / 모든 그러한 핑계들이 are based on / a wrong view of God
근거하고 있다고 / 하나님에 대한 잘못된 시각에
Exodus thirty four, / six says, 출애굽기 34 장 / 6 절은 말합니다
“God is full of mercy.
하나님은 자비가 충만하십니다
He is full of Goodness.
그는 선함이 충만하십니다
He is overbounding.
그는 넘치십니다
He is overflowing / in truth and goodness.
그는 넘쳐 흐르십니다 / 진리와 선함에 있어서
There is no limit 한계가 없습니다
to what God can bless you with.
하나님이 당신을 축복하실 수 있는 그것에는
The only limit / to God’s blessing / in your life 단 하나의 한계는 / 하나님의 축복에 있어서 / 당신의 인생에 is your willingness / to ask for it.
당신의 자발적 의지입니다 / 그것을 달라고 요청할
