Analysis of Curriculum and Contents Relevance
in PhysicsI Textbooks of the 2009 Revised Science Curriculum

The purpose of this research was to investigate the curriculum and the physics contents in physic- sItextbooks based on the 2009 revised science curriculum. Two kinds of physicsItextbooks were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: First, in two textbooks, 56 physics concepts did not conform to the curriculum. Second, 47 irrelevant explanations were found in the two textbooks.
Careful considerations will be needed to develop correct textbooks.
