Korea - Sweden 60 yearS Logo ConteSt

Since Korea and Sweden established diplomatic relations in 1959, the relationship has developed into a close partnership in many different areas. This will be celebrated throughout 2019 in both Sweden and Korea. In preparing for the anniversary, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden in Korea are hosting a logo design contest for young Swedish and Korean nationals to create a logo that best reflects the rich history between Korea and Sweden as well as the two countries modern, innovative and forward-looking partnership. The winning logo design will be used for events and promotion materials related to the 60th anniversary in both countries throughout 2019.

CONTEST DETAILS

Submission period

17 September (Mon) - 31 October (Wed) 2018

Winner Announcement 5 December 2018

Selection process

Officials and staff at the Korean Embassy in Stockholm and Swedish embassy in Seoul will form a jury to choose the finalists and name the winner.

The jury will consult with a professional design organization.

Prize

The winning logo will receive a round-trip economy flight ticket between Seoul and Stockholm (valid for a year) and five nights stay at a hotel. The winner will be invited to the 60th anniversary events during 2019. The runner up will be invited to the Embassy and receive a special Swedish or Korean gift.

CONTEST CRITERIA

• It should be an original and unique design that represents the 60 years of friendship between Sweden and Korea.

• The design should be in color, and reproducible in black and white.

• The logo could contain the words 'Sweden' and 'Korea'.

• The design should combine elements of Sweden and

Korea to send a message about the positive spirit of these two countries partnering together for the future

• Multiple entries are accepted.

APPLICATION

• The contestant should submit the logo design in a JPG Image file (minimum size 640 x 480 dpi) together with a description of the design in English (no more than one A4 page)

• Please send the graphic file of the design and application to the Embassy of Korea in Sweden.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• All content should obtain copyright permission before submission.

• The Embassies will have the right to use the logo design for the official promotion of Sweden and Korea in both countries
