2022 Photo Contest
For 30th Anniversary of Establishment of Korea-South Africa Diplomatic Relations
1. The Korean Embassy holds a photo contest to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of South Africa
2. Korean and South African living in Korea and South Africa can participate.
3. Theme:
- Korean take photo of RSA.
- South African take photo of Korea.
- Scenery only
4. Period:
- Entry fee: Free
- Duration: 25 April 2022 – 31 July 2022
5. Notification of Winner:
- In September, 2022
- Personal notification and notice on the Embassy's Face book page
6. Prizes:
- Grand prize: one(1) winner / Round trip ticket (Ethiopian Airlines, Economy Class) from South Korea to South Africa or South Africa to South Korea
* Schedule consultation required in accordance with airlines’ regulations and other matters
- 2nd Prize: Three(3) winners / 2 Nights Hotel(4-5 stars)* voucher
* (ROK) Deluxe Room of the Lotte Hotel, Seoul
* (RSA) Standard Room of the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town or etc.
- 3rd Prize: Five(5) winners / Korean Restaurant or Shop voucher (R3,000)

8. General Conditions:
- Unpublished picture
- Scenery of Korea and South Africa
* In the case of portrait photography, submission of consent form for portrait rights - Digital JPG file at least 5MB(3000 pixels on the long edge)
- Submit the photos with the completed Application Form (both as attachments) by email (mhchang09@mofa.go.kr)
- Proper tone correction is allowed for the photographer's intentions.
- Digital composition limits the ability to dramatically change the picture itself or to overdo it In this case, you may not get a good point
9. Important notices:
- Picture must be taken on your own.
- One person can submit up to three pictures.
The applicant must fill out the separate application form for each pictures.
- Submitted works will not be returned.
- Work submitted for plagiarism or other competitions will not be considered for judging, and even after winning the award, award may be cancelled.
- All responsibility for legal disputes such as copyrights arising from the above reasons rests with the applicant.

- Posted on the Korean Embassy's website, Publication of a Korean Publicity Booklet
- Photo Exhibition on Korean National day and other occasions for the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations
