｢공업화학｣ 논문투고규정

1. 본 규정은 본회 정관 제 4 조에 의거하여 발간되는 학술지(공업화학)의 투고에 관한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.

2. 논문은 본 학술지에 투고하기 전에 다른 학술잡지에 원보로 발표 또는 투고 중이 아닌 것이어야 한다.

논문이 채택된 후에는 본 학술지의 서면 동의 없이 유사한 형식으로 한글이나 다른 언어로 출판되어서는 안된다.

3. 논문의 투고는 본회의 회원에 한한다. 단, 초청 투고자는 예외로 한다.

4. 논문의 투고일자는 논문이 본회에 도착한 날을“접수일”로 하고 최종심사 종료일을“채택일”로 한다.

5. 논문의 투고는 온라인 접수를 원칙으로 한다. 제출된 논문은 저자에게 반환하지 않는다.

6. 논문은 보문, 단신, 속보, 논평으로 구분하고 총설은 본 규정에 준하여 투고할 수 있다.

7. (1) 논문 작성의 언어는 국어(한글) 또는 영어로 할 수 있으며, 국어의 경우 학술용어는 영어를 병용할 수 있다.

(2) 논문 작성을 국어로 할 경우 본문 문장 중의 영어의 사용은 가능한 한 억제하고 국어를 사용하되, 영어를 사용 하여야 할 경우는 모두 소문자로 쓴다. 다만 문장을 시작하는 곳에 영어 단어가 올 경우는 시작하는 첫 글자만 대문자로 한다.

(3) 논문내용 중 미생물명 등 학명과“in situ”,“in vitro”등 사전에서도 이탤릭체로 표기되는 단어는 이탤릭체로 표기한다. 또한 수식에 사용되는 알파벳 및 숫자도 모두 이탤릭체로 하되 수식 중의 ln 및 첨자는 일반체로 한다.

8. 논문의 서식은 가로 쓰기로 하고, 약 21 × 29.7 cm (A4) 크기의 용지에 작성하며(글꼴: 신명조, 크기: 11, 간격:

2줄), 그 분량은 아래와 같이 제한한다.

(1) 보문：표와 그림을 제외하고 15면 이내 (2) 단신：표와 그림을 포함하여 6면 이내

(3) 속보, 논평：2면 이내

9. 원고는 다음 항목별로 새로운 면에서 시작하여야 한다.

(1) 제목, 저자명, 연구기관 및 주소

① 국어 및 영어로 작성하며, 교신저자는 위첨자로 †표시를 하고, 저자의 현 소속기관이 연구 당시와 다른 경우 에는 현 소속기관 및 주소를 각 주에 표시하여야 한다. 단, 논문이 단일저자인 경우는 논문저자 표기시 교신 저자를 나타내는 †표시를 하지 않으며, 논문 첫페이지 하단에 표시하는 e-mail 주소에서‘†교신저자 (e-mail주소)’대신에‘저자(e-mail주소)’로 표시한다. 저자의 영문주소 표기시,“Dept.”등은 약자로 쓰지 않고“Department”등과 같이 full text로 표기하여야 한다.

② 영문 제목은 접속사, 관사와 전치사를 제외하고 모든 단어들의 첫문자를 대문자로 표기한다.

(2) 국문초록 (600자 이내)과 영문초록 (200 단어 이내) 및 Keywords (영문으로 5개 이내) (3) 본문(본문은 아래와 같은 순서로 구성된다.)

페이지당 하나의 표를 싣도록 한다. 표의 제목은 상단에 위치시키며, 매 단어의 첫 글자를 대문자로 하되 관사와 전치사는 소문자로 한다. 표 내의 긴 단어는 적당한 약어로 대치한 후 아래에 약어를 정의하여야 한다. 모든 표는 아라비아 숫자로 일련번호를 부여하여야 한다(예: Table 1).

11. 그림의 제목 및 내용은 영어로 하여야 하며 한 페이지당 하나의 그림을 싣도록 한다. 그림의 제목들은 별지에 모아

작성하여야 한다. 그림의 제목은 문장의 첫 글자만 대문자로 하고 제목이 끝나는 곳에 마침표를 찍는다. 모든 그 림이나 사진은 크기가 8×8 cm로 축소하여 인쇄된 후에도 명료하게 해독할 수 있도록 작성하며, 아라비아 숫자로 일련번호를 부여하여야 한다(예：Figure 1.).

12. 본문, 그림 및 표에 사용된 약어, 시료명, 기호 등은 그것이 반복될 경우에 처음 사용된 곳에서 다음 예와 같은 형 식으로 한 번만 정의해 주고 그 이후로는 약어 등을 사용한다. 국문 및 영문초록 내에서도 반복되는 약어 등은 정 의하지만 본문에서는 다시 새롭게 정의해야 한다(예：polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)).

13. 모든 단위는 SI단위의 사용을 원칙으로 하며 일반적으로 단위 다음에는 한 칸을 띄운다. 그러나 “%”는 숫자에 붙 여서 쓰며 시간 단위의 초는 “s”로, 분은 “min”, 시간은 “h”로, 년은 “yr”로 각각 표기한다.

14. 본문 중에 ( ),［］등의 괄호가 나올 경우 괄호 앞이 국문인 경우는 붙여쓰고 영문인 경우는 띄어 쓴다. 다만,

“Figure 1(a)” 등의 경우는 ( ) 앞의 숫자와 괄호를 붙여 쓴다. “wt%” 등은 “wt”와 “%”를 붙여 쓰며 본문 중에

“A = 25” 또는 “A > 25” 등이 나올 경우는 기호 앞뒤로 한 칸씩 띄어 쓴다.

15. 인용된 참고문헌들은 본문에 인용된 순서대로 해당 문구의 알맞은 곳에 대괄호 속의 아라비아 숫자로 일련번호를 부여하여야 한다.

16. 참고문헌이 학술잡지의 경우는 저자명, 잡지명, 권수, 첫 쪽수, (출판년도) 순으로, 단행본이나 편집서인 경우는 저 자, 책명, 편집자, 권수, 첫 쪽수, 출판사명, 출판사소재지, (출판년도) 순으로 명기하여야 하며, 권수는 두꺼운 글씨 체로 한다. 단, 없는 항목은 생략할 수 있으며, 각 참고문헌의 끝에는 마침표를 찍는다. 잡지명의 약기 방식은 Chemical Abstract의 List of Periodica1s에서 채택한 것을 써야 한다.

17. 투고된 논문의 신속하고 정확한 심사를 위하여 투고자는 논문 심사 가능한 자를 최소 3∼5인 추천할 수 있다.

18. 투고시에는 소정의 심사료를 납부하여야 하며, 게재 후에는 소정의 게재료를 납부하여야 한다.

19. 별쇄본은 기본으로 20부를 무상으로 제공하며, 추가 요구시에는 1부당 1,000원을 납부하여야 한다.

(1) 독창성이 뚜렷하지 아니할 경우

(2) 저자가 연구한 결과와 타인이 이미 연구한 결과 사이에 뚜렷한 차이가 없는 경우 (3) 기타 본 회지에 게재하기에 부적당하다고 인정될 경우

｢공업화학｣ 논문심사규정

1. 논문의 심사 및 채택은 본 규정에 따른다. 단신(Notes)과 논평(Comments)도 논문으로 취급한다.

2. 논문의 심사는 2명의 심사위원에게 의뢰한다. 심사위원은 논문의 전공분야를 편집이사가 분류하여 편집이사 또는 편집위원의 추천에 의해 편집위원장이 위촉하며, 그 명단은 발표하지 않는다.

심사의원의 자격은 대학교 전임강사 이상, 연구소 선임연구원 이상, 기타는 동등자격 이상으로 한다.

3. 심사결과는 “채택가”와 “채택불가”로 판정하고, 채택가의 경우는 “무수정”, “수정 후 채택”, “수정 후 재심”으로 구 분한다.

(1) “채택가” 중 “무수정”으로 판정된 논문은 이를 수정없이 채택한다.

(2) “채택가” 중 “수정 후 채택”으로 판정된 논문은 심사위원이 지적한 사항을 저자가 수정한 후 편집이사가 이를

확인하여 채택한다.

(3) “채택가” 중 “수정 후 재심”으로 판정된 논문은 심사위원이 지적한 사항을 저자가 수정한 후 해당 심사위원에 게 재심을 의뢰한다.

(4) 수정요청일로부터 4개월간 저자로부터 회답이 없을 때에는 자동적으로 “채택불가”로 처리된다.

4. 심사내용은 저자에게만 통보하고 공표하지 않는다.

5. 논문의 내용이 아래의 어느 항에 해당된다고 심사위원이 인정할 경우에는 “수정 후 채택” 또는 “수정 후 재심”으로 판정하고 해당사항을 구체적으로 심사평란에 지적하여 이를 수정 또는 보충할 것을 요구할 수 있다.

(1) 내용의 서술이 분명하지 아니할 경우

(2) 그림과 표에 관한 표시 또는 설명이 불충분하거나, 분명하지 아니할 경우와 일관성이 없는 경우 (3) 그밖에 수정, 보충할 필요가 있다고 인정될 경우

6. 논문의 내용이 아래의 어느 항에 해당된다고 심사위원이 인정할 경우에는 “채택불가”로 판정하고 그 이유를 구체 적으로 심사평란에 지적하여야 한다.

7. 논문이 논문투고 규정에 맞지 않다고 편집위원장이 인정할 경우에는 이를 접수하지 아니할 수 있다.

8. 외국어로 작성된 원고로서 문맥이 분명하지 아니하거나 문법적으로 그 해독이 곤란할 경우에는 편집위원회 또는 심사위원이 저자에게 수정을 요구하거나 국문으로 작성하여 재투고할 것을 권장할 수 있다.

9. 심사위원 중 1명이 “채택가” 다른 1명이 “채택 불가”로 판정하였을 경우에는 편집위원장에게 제 1, 2심사위원들의 심사평을 첨부하여 통보하고, 제 3심사위원의 선정을 의뢰한다. 이 경우 제 3 의 심사위원이 “채택가”나 “채택불가”

로 판정하면 이 판정에 따라 논문을 처리하고, 만일 가부판정을 확실히 할 수 없을 경우에는 편집 위원회가 이를 심의하여 게재여부를 결정한다.

10. 별다른 이유가 없는 한 투고된 논문은 편집위원장이 최종 게재여부를 결정한다. 단, 편집 위원장은 필요에 따라 편 집이사 또는 편집위원회에게 업무를 위임할 수 있다.

11. 심사위원은 심사 위촉 후 15일 이내에 위촉받은 논문을 심사하고, 판정결과와 심사평을 원고와 함께 본 학회에 반 송하여야 한다.

12. 심사위원이 심사 위촉 후 30일 이내에 심사의견을 제출하지 아니할 경우에는 심사의뢰를 취소할 수 있다. 이 경우 원고는 즉시 본 학회로 반송하여야 한다.

13. 본 회는 심사위원의 심사의견을 받은 후 1주일 이내에 그 사본을 저자에게 발송한다.

14. 본회는 심사 완료되어 게재예정인 논문의 저자에게 심사 완료 후 1주일 이내에 게재예정 사항을 알린다.

｢J. Ind. Eng. Chem.｣ Instruction to Authors

Authors are requested to follow these instructions carefully to ensure that the review and publication of the article are swift and efficient. Manuscripts will be returned to the authors if they are not presented according to these instructions.

Types of Manuscripts

Research papers, short communications, comments, and reviews are published.

Research papers should be comprehensive reports containing significant new research data and/or new in- terpretations of existing data with special emphasis on industrial applications. An abstract of 100∼200 words should accompany.

Short communications present scientific or technological information warranting rapid dissemination.

Authors should define in the text why the contribution deserves rapid publication. Manuscripts are normally planned to occupy two or three printed journal pages. An abstract limited to 150 words is required.

Note discuss the previously published works. The length of a comment should not exceed 1500 words not including figures. An abstract limited to 100 words is required. The editors will generally permit the authors of the work being discussed to reply.

Reviews furnish critical surveys of progress in limited field of industrial and engineering chemistry. An abstract limited to 150 words is required.

Preparation of Manuscripts

All manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English, typewritten, double-spaced, on one side of A4 paper with adequate margins. Please number every sheet of paper.

Arrangement. A manuscript is arranged in the following order. Each starts on a new sheet.

1. Title Page: Manuscript title, author’s name, and affiliation. The corresponding author(s) should be clearly indicated with asterisk (*). The affiliation should comprise the department, institution, city, postal code, and nation. Please also suggest an abbreviated title limited to 80 characters (including spaces) for running head.

2. Abstract: An abstract must be provided with all types of manuscripts. The abstract outlines in a single paragraph the aims, scope, methods, significant findings, and conclusions of the contribution. Provide 3∼5 keywords that best represent the content of the paper.

3. The Text: Suitably divided under such headings as Introduction, Experimental, Results and Discussion, and Conclusions.

4. Acknowledgment(s) (if any). 5. References (and Notes, if any).

6. Tables: Each on a separate sheet. 7. Captions for Illustrations.

8. Illustrations: Each on a separate sheet containing no text. Labeled with the author's name and illustration number.

9. Appendix (if any).

Nomenclature and Units. Each paper should be consistent within itself as to abbreviations, symbols, and units. Authors should use SI units wherever possible. Nomenclature should conform to that recommended by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and Chemical Abstracts Service.

Equations and Formulae. Complicated chemical equations, formulae, and schemes should be presented as furnished artwork. Mathematical expressions and chemical formulae should be typed with available symbols and letters. Capital, lower case, and Greek letters should be easily discernible, and identified in the margin so that ambiguities could be protected. Equations should be numbered consecutively throughout the paper with Arabic numerals in parentheses placed flush right, and should be referred to in the text [such as Equation (2)].

Tables. Tables should be numbered in Arabic numerals in the order of mention in the text. A table should have a descriptive title (above the table) and appropriate column headings. Avoid tables and graphs that in- volve duplication. If you use a graph, do not include a table of the same data: If the readers need a table, omit the graph. Present a few representative results for lengthy table when practical.

Illustrations. Figures and graphs should be carefully made with black ink on white paper. It should be of sufficient size so that after photo-reproduction to a single-column width (8 cm) the smallest letter could be 2 mm. Legend should be placed in the white space of the drawings, not in the caption, whenever possible.

Original copies of the graphs, drawings, and photographs should be numbered in Arabic numerals in the order of mention in the text, and included at the end of the manuscript. Photographs are accepted with additional charge.

References (and Notes). All references and explanatory notes, if any, should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text, and the complete list of literature citations and notes should appear at the end of the text. All the authors of the cited reference should appear in the list. For abbreviations of the periodicals should follow the Chemical Abstracts. Examples of bibliographic references are given below.

Proofs and Reprints

Galley proofs, original manuscript, cut copy and Reprint Order Form are sent by the publisher directly to the corresponding author. The attention of the author is directed to the instruction which accompanies the proof, especially the requirement that all corrections, revisions, and additions should be entered on the proof and not on the manuscript. Proofs should be checked against the manuscript (in particular all tables, equations, and formulae, since this is not done by the editorial board), and returned as soon as possible. Authors are entitled 20 free reprints of the article. Should the author needs additional reprints, the filled- out Reprint Order Form must be returned with the proof.

Submission of manuscripts

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically by using online manuscript submission available at http://www.ksiec.or.kr/suite/review/ReviewLogin.php. This site will guide authors stepwise through the submission process. Authors should upload the source files of their articles in the preferred format of Microsoft (MS) Word for text and TIFF or EPS for figures. If you submit a word processing file, the system generates an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the article, which is used for the reviewing process. Authors, reviewers, and editors send and receive all correspondence by e-mail and no paper correspondence is necessary. Should you be unable to provide an electronic version, please contact the Editorial Office prior to submission at ksiechem@chol.com

There are no submission fees or page charges. Each manuscript should be accompanied by a letter out- lining the basic findings of the paper and their significance. The Editors invite authors to suggest the names of at least two persons who are qualified to serve as reviewers. Please provide complete contact information, including an e-mail address. Authors are requested not to suggest reviewers with whom they have a person or professional relationship, especially if that relationship would prevent the reviewer from having an unbiased opinion of the work of the authors. Referees should be from institutions other than (and preferably countries other than) those of any of the Authors.

Original contributions only will be considered. Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has not been published, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all of the authors; further, that any person cited as a source of personal communications has approved such citation. Written authorization may be required at the Editor’s discretion. Articles and any other material published in the Journal of Industrial Engineering Chemistry represent the opinions of the author(s) and should not be construed to reflect the opinions of the Editor(s) and the Publisher.

1. 영문학술지(Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry) 투고 논문의 심사 및 채택은 본 규정에 따른 다. 논문은 research papers, short communications, comments와 review로 나누며 모두 논문으로 취급한다.

2. 논문의 심사는 2명 이상의 심사위원(reviewer)에게 의뢰한다. 심사위원은 편집이사의 추천에 의해 편집위원장이 위촉한다. 단, 편집위원장은 이를 편집이사에게 위임할 수 있으며, 편집이사는 해당분야의 편집위원과 상의할 수 있다. 어떠한 경우에도 심사위원의 명단은 발표하지 않는다.

3. 심사결과는 ‘무수정 채택(publish without change)’, ‘수정 후 채택(publish with change)’, ‘수정 후 재심 (reconsider after revision)’, ‘채택 불가(do not publish)’로 구분한다.

(1) ‘무수정 채택’으로 판정된 논문은 이를 수정없이 채택하며, 채택되었음을 편집위원장이 저자에게 알린다.

(2) ‘수정 후 채택’으로 판정된 논문은 채택되었음을 편집위원장이 저자에게 알리며, 심사위원이 지적한 사항을 저자가 수정한 후 편집이사가 이를 확인하고 채택한다.

(3) ‘수정 후 재심’으로 판정된 논문은 심사위원이 지적한 사항을 저자가 수정한 후 해당 심사위원에게 재심을 의뢰한다.

(4) ‘채택불가’로 판정된 논문은 이를 심사위원의 심사평과 함께 편집위원장이 저자에게 알린다.

(4) 기타 본 학술지에 개재하기에 부적당하다고 인정될 경우

7. 논문이 논문투고 규정에 맞지 않다고 편집위원장 혹은 편집이사가 인정할 경우에는 이를 접수하지 아니할 수 있다.

8. 심사위원 중 1명이 ‘채택가’(‘무수정 채택’ 혹은 ‘수정 후 채택’), 다른 1명이 ‘채택불가’로 판정하였을 경우에는 편집위원장이 제1, 2심사위원들의 심사평을 고려하여 제3심사위원에게 심사를 의뢰하고, 이 제3의 심사위원의 판정에 따라 심사결과를 확정한다. 편집위원장은 필요에 따라 편집이사에게 업무를 위임할 수 있다. 만일 가부 판정을 확실히 할 수 없을 경우에는 편집위원회가 이를 심의하여 게재여부를 결정한다.

2. 회원 여러분의 많은 관심과 성원으로 한국공업화학회가 그동안 괄목할만한 성장을 이룩하였습니다. 21세 기를 맞이하여 보다 알찬 내용으로 국문지 ｢공업화학｣은 연 6회, 영문지 ｢Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry｣ 연 6회, 소식지 ｢공업화학 전망｣지가 ’98년 6월에 창간되어 내년에도 연 6회 발간할 예정입니다. 또한,

｢응용화학｣ 학술대회 프로시딩지도 ’98년도에 이어 춘⋅추계학술발표회 때 통권 28권까지 발행할 예정입니다.

이와 같은 사업을 원활히 수행하기 위해서 1999년부터는 년회비 이외에 구독료를 별도로 징수하게 되었 습니다. 연회비 납부시는 소식지인 ｢공업화학 전망｣지만 우송되며, 구독료를 내셔야 국문지 ｢공업화학｣이 추가 우송 될 예정이오니 참고하시기 바라며, 2010년도 회비납부안내가 다음과 같사오니 조속히 납부하여 주시면 감사하겠습니 다. 회원여러분의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드립니다.
